The Deuter Trail 23 SL hiking backpack features the Airstripes back system with low back support and large ventilation channels as well as perforated shoulder straps and hip fins. The backpack is specially tailored to the female anatomy and ensures optimum air circulation, body-hugging weight distribution and therefore a compact fit in any terrain.
Thanks to attachments on the shoulder straps, the carabiners of the via ferrata set are always ready to hand. In addition, equipment and material are quickly to hand thanks to the large arched opening with zip, elasticated front pocket and side pockets.

SL Women's Fit
This model is available as an SL version. The women's specificity of the SL back length is already evident in the back length: on average, women do not have quite as long a back as men. The carrying system of the SL models is therefore slightly shorter than the standard Deuter backpacks. The carrying system is also specially adapted to the female anatomy.
Deuter Airstripes
The unique Airstripes system ensures a secure fit thanks to the compact ergonomics of the back padding and the carrying system. Thanks to the small padding surface with special ventilation system and breathable mesh material, effective air circulation is created. The compact fit provides stability and prevents the rucksack from breaking out during sudden movements. At the same time, the small contact area of the padding with ventilation channels guarantees
free air circulation over 80% of the back.
Made without PFAS
This product was manufactured by Deuter without the use of per- and polyfluorinated chemicals. This reduces the use of substances that are harmful to the environment and health.
PFAS is used, among other things, as a coating for rain protection, as they have water, dirt and grease-repellent properties
Instead, Deuter now uses DWR (Durable Water Repellency) impregnation, which is harmless to health and environmentally friendly.
