Bosch - the smart system for e-bikes

At the start into the networked e-bike world, Bosch is equipping the top drive unit Performance line CX for the future. The well-known motor with a new connectivity is accompanied by Bosch's brand-new PowerTube 500 battery. Beside the Purion 200 remote with integrated 1.6 inch color display and the new 2A charger, the new smart system also includes the new eBike Flow app, which now is the center for customizing your e-bike! Thanks to the network, you can easily retrofit new functions or install updates "over-the-air". Of course, you can also track your activities and customize the riding modes. The retrofittable "ConnectModule" is intended to increase security, enabling new options for e-bike theft protection. For example, an acoustic alarm can be triggered in the event of an attempted theft, and the bike can also be tracked if it has been stolen. Further features are planned to promise more riding fun and safety with the smart system by Bosch.

Stay on trend with over-the-air updates in the eBike Flow app: Enjoy the ride with the new Auto riding mode. Lending powerful support with a natural riding sensation, the drive unit keeps you safe with features such as the new Bosch eBike ABS.

Quiet drive unit
Enjoy a virtually noise-free ride with Performance Line's new quiet transmission. Feel at one with nature on long bike rides with a motor that's barely audible.

Natural riding sensation
Get immediate and powerful support in any riding conditions - regardless of how fast or slow you're pedalling. Powering your ride with up to 75 Nm, Performance Line is designed to provide a natural riding sensation. Adjusting intuitively to your riding style, the drive unit makes handling easier and enhances road safety.

Relaxing Auto mode
Get more enjoyment out of your eBike with Auto mode. Performance Line automatically switches between Tour and Turbo modes in line with the riding conditions. You don't have to worry about switching modes manually - or working nearly as hard. This leaves you free to focus on the road ahead and to enjoy your ride to the fullest.

ABS Allroad

Tour+:

• Smooth incremental support for energy-saving riding and a natural riding sensation for sporty rides.

• Maximum drive torque: 75 Nm

Eco:

• Effective, but gentle support, designed for maximum efficiency for long ranges.
• Support level: 60%
• Maximum drive torque: 40 Nm

Enhancing the eBike
Use the eBike Flow app to download new features and updates for components such as the battery or motor and send them to your eBike via Bluetooth. That way it's always up to date and you get to enjoy more options.

Recording activities
Track your ride and fitness data as soon as you get started. If desired, the Activity Tracking for iPhone users can also sync all data automatically with Apple Health. When you take a break, the recording stops automatically.

Customising riding modes
Adjust the riding mode exactly to your needs: You can finely adjust the Eco, Tour, Sport and Turbo riding modes so that they offer you more support or consume less power.

Everything at a glance
Use the Home screen to gain a quick overview of everything that's important. Whether battery status, remaining range, distance travelled or the next service appointment, the Home screen clearly shows you everything you need to know with constantly updated eBike data.

Bosch Purion 200 remote with integrated 1.6 inch color display

Developed with ergonomics experts
The Purion 200 is mounted on the left-hand side of the handlebar, in immediate proximity to the thumb. Thanks to its curved shape, the combination of control unit and display fits beautifully onto the handlebar. If the plus and minus buttons are aligned correctly – i.e. almost vertically – this means more comfort for you during operation and a faster reading of the riding data. For example – with just one thumb movement, you can control your eBike and change the riding mode or the display. For the optimal combination of functionality, comfort and design, we have developed the Purion 200 jointly with the ergonomics experts from SQlab.

Optimal readability
High resolution, more color depth, a clear structure and easy-to-understand symbols ensure that you can quickly read and grasp the information on the Purion 200. The integrated ambient light sensor automatically adjusts the brightness of the display depending on the ambient light. This makes it very easy to read, even in bright sunshine or at night.

Powerful display combinations
If you want more information or a larger display for even better readability, you can use another display in addition to the Purion 200: Have the Kiox 300 or Kiox 500 mounted by a eBike dealer or use your smartphone as a second display using the SmartphoneGrip and eBike Flow app. The additional new main display is controlled via the buttons on the Purion 200. The Purion 200 continues to show you the information that was last selected: You can, for example, display the current speed on the Purion 200 and use your main display for navigation.

Wide range of functions
The Purion 200 offers numerous functions that let you ride and arrive better. In addition to basic functions (such as switching your eBike and the light on and off) you can, for example, also activate the smart walk assist via the Purion 200 buttons to push your eBike more easily when walking. At the touch of a button, you can change the display in seconds and simply select the information that is important to you at that moment: for example, keep an eye on the remaining range, see the distance you have already ridden or check your cadence.

Connected intelligently
Five buttons, one display and lots of options: the Purion 200 is networked in the smart system and connects the eBike with the eBike Flow app. This gives you digital functions that you can easily activate and use via the app – e.g. for greater theft protection, recording your activities or the option of adapting riding modes to your needs. In addition, the Purion 200 is the interface for transferring updates to your eBike. This means that it always stays up-to-date.
