FRAME Cube Phenix C:68X Race
Cube knows a thing or two about making fast cross-country race frames, but the Phenix C:68X moves the bar even higher. How? For starters, they used the premium C:68X® carbon for the ultimate in low weight, high strength and ride comfort. Cube redesigned the seat tube junction to incorporate an integrated seat clamp. It's a small touch, but – along with Internal Cable Routing – it complements the frame's clean aesthetic and elegant, organic lines. And there's an adjustable angle headset, so you can tweak your bike's handling to suit your own taste.

C:68X® Carbon Fiber Technology
Combining all Cube's expertise from carbon frame building into the ultimate material, C:68X® carbon uses the optimum blend of fibre and nano particle-infused resin. Precision Advanced Twin Mold manufacturing means Cube can avoid bonded sleeves or inserts, too. It's the new benchmark for light, stiff and strong.
Boost148
A wider hub makes a stiffer wheel, and a stiffer wheel means better handling. That's the thinking behind the Boost 148 rear hub standard, which allows wider flange spacing for better wheel performance without impacting on shifting accuracy or drivetrain efficiency. Simply put, you can go faster and harder with better handling and stronger wheels.
Internal Cable Routing
Cables connect your handlebar controls to vital components like gears and brakes, but there's no need for them to get in your way. With Internal Cable Routing Cube has reduced clutter and maintenance by running cables through the frame, keeping them out of the way of dust and water contamination – or damage from abrasion – as well as cleaning up your bike's appearance.

With the Advanced Twin Mold process Cube use two precisely manufactured forms for the C:62®, C:68® and C:68X® carbon frames. The first form is to ensure an accurate layup. The second, inner form keeps every individual fibre precisely where it needs to be while the frame cures. The result is a significantly lighter, stronger frame, with fibre density tailored to anticipated loadings at specific points.
