The Bosch Performance Line CX (BDU384Y) represents a new level of riding dynamics and agility in the e-bike segment. It is powerful, lightweight and quiet – with a clear focus on maximum uphill flow and a natural, controlled riding experience.

Even in its standard configuration, the drive unit delivers 85 Nm of torque, 600 watts of power and 340% assistance, offering a balanced combination of performance, efficiency and range. The system is complemented by a low weight of just 2.8 kg – around 100 g lighter than its predecessor – making it optimised for both sporty and efficient riding.

With the new Performance Upgrade 2.0, Bosch significantly enhances this performance level. From May 2026, the Drive Unit’s performance can be individually boosted: more power, higher torque and a significantly increased assistance factor will be available – directly controllable via the Bosch eBike Flow app.

The free software update enables compatible systems to achieve a noticeable boost in performance. Maximum assistance increases to up to 600 per cent, whilst peak power of up to 750 watts remains available for a longer period. In addition, the riding modes can be customised – precisely tailored to the riding environment and riding style.

The upgrade has the greatest impact at lower speeds, ensuring particularly powerful acceleration from a standstill. The legally prescribed assistance limit of 25 km/h remains unchanged.

With this upgrade, the Performance Line CX achieves a maximum torque of up to 120 Nm, a motor power of up to 750 watts and an assistance level of up to 600 per cent. This further enhances the sporty character of the platform without compromising control or the natural riding feel.

eMTB+ mode
With the built-in ‘Dynamic Control’, you ride with full control, even when you’ve increased your performance settings. On steep, bumpy terrain, you’ll enjoy confident propulsion, whilst on loose or wet surfaces it acts like traction control.

eMTB mode and Extended Boost
eMTB mode responds progressively to your input and instantly detects, based on your pedal pressure, how much power you want – dynamically, with maximum traction and always in a controlled manner. With the integrated Extended Boost, a well-timed push on the pedal is all it takes for the drive unit to propel you effortlessly over steps and rocks.

Push Assist and Hill Start Assist
With the push assist, you can push your eMTB easily, whilst the drive unit automatically adjusts the pushing speed to suit the gradient and terrain. Furthermore, the hill start assist enables a controlled start with strong traction, even on steep terrain. In both cases, Hill Hold is active: your eMTB stays put and doesn’t roll back unexpectedly.

Bosch eBike ABS Pro
ABS Pro is ideal for professional eBikers: designed for fast, sporty downhill riding and braking. You can make full use of your braking skills whilst still feeling how the system enhances performance.

eShift with TRP
You can choose whether eShift with TRP should change gears automatically for you, or whether you’d prefer to change gears yourself with quick manoeuvres on varied terrain – simply at the touch of a button. With eShift, gear changes are efficient and precise.

PowerMore 250
Compact and weighing just 1.5 kilograms, the range extender can be easily attached to the water bottle cage. It is compatible with all batteries in the smart system. Please check in advance whether you can use the range extender with your e-bike.

Customisable riding modes
Your trail, your riding experience, your mode: using four parameters, you can easily tailor the riding modes to your needs via a slider in the eBike Flow app. Assistance, dynamics, maximum torque and maximum speed – you decide what you need.

eBike Lock – Free additional protection against theft

The perfect complement – park your eBike. Enjoy some downtime.
eBike Lock is free for all eBikes with the smart system. When you switch on your eBike, it automatically checks whether your smartphone is nearby to act as a digital key. Only then is motor assistance activated and your eBike unlocked.

Display as a key – use your Kiox 300 or Kiox 500 as a key
It’s as intuitive as it sounds: simply remove the display from its mount and stow it away. This gives your eBike an extra layer of protection in no time. Reattach the display to activate the motor assistance and set off.

Unlock via smartphone – manually unlock your e-bike using your smartphone
Instead of automatic unlocking, you can also unlock your e-bike manually via your smartphone using a button on the home screen.

Battery Lock – Lock the battery digitally

Additional protection – protect a valuable component of your e-bike
With Battery Lock, you can provide additional digital protection for your e-bike battery: this feature ensures that your battery can no longer be used if it is stolen.

Digital keys – Flexibility with a digital key
You can use several digital keys at the same time for Battery Lock: your smartphone with the eBike Flow app, as well as your Kiox 300 or Kiox 500.

Flow+ – Premium service with Flow+

Park with peace of mind – valuable location and status information
Whether you’re just parking your eBike for a short while or will be away for longer, you can stay connected and put your mind at ease via your smartphone.

Two-stage alarm – Audible and visual alarm
Your eBike will alert you with audible signals and flashing LEDs if it detects movement or is being moved. You’ll also receive a notification on your smartphone.

Tracking functions – Helpful location tracking
If your e-bike is moved significantly, you can use the tracking function to monitor its location.

eBike Pass – All your data always to hand
With the eBike Pass, you can keep track of important information about your eBike. Data relating to your eBike is stored here. You can add details manually – even independently of eBike Alarm.

The navigation function for the Kiox 300, Kiox 400C and Kiox 500 guides you precisely to your destination – with turn-by-turn directions and clear route guidance. If you’ve subscribed to Flow+, you’ll get even more map detail on your display.

Ride Screen – Turn your smartphone into an e-bike display
With the SmartphoneGrip, you can use the Ride Screen. It not only shows you all the important ride data, but also offers full navigation with 3D map views – even in portrait mode.

Activity Tracking – Automatically record and analyse your ride data
The eBike Flow app records your ride data as soon as you set off. In the statistics, you’ll find valuable insights into your ride and fitness data – to analyse and share. If you wish, all data is also automatically synchronised with Apple Health.

Performance Upgrade 2.0 – Performance redefined
Unleash more power for your e-bike. The Performance Upgrade 2.0 delivers not only better acceleration but also stronger assistance. Thanks to software optimisations, you get more powerful propulsion and can maintain speed for longer – with even more precise control. Maximum torque of up to 120 Nm via update. Variations may occur depending on the type of gear system. Higher performance settings may lead to increased wear and reduced range. The e-bike manufacturer may limit the maximum torque at the factory. In the eBike Flow app, therefore, only the maximum value authorised by the manufacturer can be set.

Digital service log
Your Bosch eBike dealer can synchronise your service appointment details with the eBike Flow app. Simply tap ‘My eBike’ in the app settings to view a record of what was done during your eBike’s servicing.

Trick Check – More skills. More fun.
Improve your skills and analyse your performance: Trick Check automatically recognises and records the type of trick you’ve performed, whether it’s jumps, stoppies, manuals or wheelies. To help you improve your riding technique, you’ll receive immediate feedback on the display and via an audible signal. Whilst riding, you’ll see the distance, duration, height or angle on your display for eight seconds. After your ride, you can find your best results in the eBike Flow app. This feature is enabled by default on your Kiox 400C and Purion 400. For all other displays, you can activate it at any time in the display settings, as well as switch the audible alert on and off. The sensors are configured to respond only to distinct tricks.

Bosch Purion 200 Remote with integrated 1.6" color display

Developed in collaboration with ergonomics experts
The Purion 200 is mounted on the left-hand side of the handlebars, right next to your thumb. Thanks to its curved shape, the combination of control unit and display fits elegantly onto the handlebars. When the plus and minus buttons are correctly aligned – i.e. almost vertically – this means greater ease of use for you and quicker reading of your ride data. With just a flick of your thumb, you can control your e-bike and, for example, change the riding mode or the display on your screen. We developed the Purion 200 in collaboration with the ergonomics experts at SQlab to achieve the perfect combination of functionality, comfort and design.

Optimal readability
High resolution, greater color depth, a clear layout and easy-to-understand symbols ensure that you can quickly read and understand the information on the Purion 200. The built-in ambient light sensor automatically adjusts the display’s brightness according to the ambient light. This means it remains highly legible even in bright sunlight and in the dark.

Powerful display combinations
If you want more information or a larger display for even better readability, you can use an additional display alongside the Purion 200: have the Kiox 300 or Kiox 500 fitted by a specialist dealer, or use your smartphone as a second display with the SmartphoneGrip and the eBike Flow app. The additional new main display is controlled via the buttons on the Purion 200. The Purion 200 continues to show you the information that was last selected: for example, you can view your current speed on the Purion 200 whilst your main display guides you.

Wide range of functions
The Purion 200 offers numerous features designed to help you ride better and reach your destination more easily. As well as basic functions such as switching your e-bike and the lights on and off, you can, for example, activate the smart push assist using the Purion 200’s buttons to make it easier to push your e-bike whilst walking. At the touch of a button, you can switch the display in a matter of seconds and easily select the information that’s important to you at that moment: for example, keep an eye on your remaining range, see how far you’ve already travelled, or check your cadence.

Intelligently connected
Five buttons, one display and a whole host of possibilities: the Purion 200 is part of a smart system and connects the e-bike to the eBike Flow app. This gives you access to digital features that you can easily activate and use via the app – for example, for enhanced anti-theft protection, recording your activities or the option to customise riding modes to suit your needs. What’s more, the Purion 200 acts as the interface for transferring updates to your e-bike, ensuring it’s always up to date.

Maximum range
With the PowerTube 600 / 800, long distances and significant elevation gains are easy to tackle.

Stylish e-bike design
Like all Bosch PowerTubes, the PowerTube 600 / 800 is perfectly integrated into the frame. An attractive e-bike design and high capacity – a combination that makes no compromises. A new, lighter casing has been used for the battery. Provided the e-bike manufacturer has designed the e-bike to allow for it, the battery can be easily swapped – for a longer or, if needed, shorter range.

Reliable power source
High safety standards. Impressive mileage, long service life, reliable performance – the lithium-ion battery is equipped with a battery management system that protects the battery cells from overloading.

User-friendly handling
The PowerTube 600 / 800 stands out for its particularly simple handling. The battery is always securely anchored in the frame on all rides; removal is via an intuitive, lockable mechanism, offering you user-friendly operation.
