A reduction in pedalling resistance of more than 50 per cent compared to the Performance Line CX, a slimmer crank design and an almost silent motor – the Performance Line SX impresses in many ways. Weighing around 2 kilograms, the Performance Line SX is our lightest drive system with the highest power density. The eBike Flow app is the centrepiece of our smart system and enables you to enjoy a better, connected riding experience: safer, more personalised and more comfortable.

eBike Lock – Free additional protection against theft

The perfect complement – park your eBike. Enjoy some downtime.
eBike Lock is free for all eBikes with the smart system. When you switch on your eBike, it automatically checks whether your smartphone is nearby to act as a digital key. Only then is motor assistance activated and your eBike unlocked.

Display as a key – use your Kiox 300 or Kiox 500 as a key
It’s as intuitive as it sounds: simply remove the display from its mount and stow it away. This gives your eBike an extra layer of protection in no time. Reattach the display to activate the motor assistance and set off.

Unlock via smartphone – manually unlock your e-bike using your smartphone
Instead of automatic unlocking, you can also unlock your e-bike manually via your smartphone using a button on the home screen.

Battery Lock – Lock the battery digitally

Additional protection – protect a valuable component of your e-bike
With Battery Lock, you can provide additional digital protection for your e-bike battery: this feature ensures that your battery can no longer be used if it is stolen.

Digital keys – Flexibility with a digital key
You can use several digital keys at the same time for Battery Lock: your smartphone with the eBike Flow app, as well as your Kiox 300 or Kiox 500.

Flow+ – Premium service with Flow+
Battery Lock is available as a premium service from Flow+. You can try Flow+ for free – for 12 months with the ConnectModule. Without the ConnectModule, you get one month free.

Protect your eBike – eBike Alarm

Park with peace of mind – valuable location and status information
Whether you’re just parking your eBike for a short while or will be away for longer, you can stay connected and put your mind at ease via your smartphone.

Two-stage alarm – Audible and visual alarm
Your eBike will alert you with audible signals and flashing LEDs if it detects movement or is being moved. You’ll also receive a notification on your smartphone.

Tracking functions – Helpful location tracking
If your e-bike is moved significantly, you can use the tracking function to monitor its location.

eBike Pass – All your data always to hand
With the eBike Pass, you can keep track of important information about your eBike. Data relating to your eBike is stored here. You can add details manually – even independently of eBike Alarm.

Theft Report – Quick help in the event of theft
If your eBike is stolen, you can create a document containing all the key information about the incident for the police, based on the data from the eBike Pass – and add a live tracking link.

Route planning – Plan according to your needs
Choose the route profile and map details that suit your ride. Plan your own routes with waypoints or import existing ones from komoot.

On-screen navigation – Navigate precisely using your display
The navigation function for the Kiox 300, Kiox 400C and Kiox 500 guides you precisely to your destination – with turn-by-turn instructions and clear route guidance. If you’ve subscribed to Flow+, you’ll get even more map detail on your display.

Ride Screen – Turn your smartphone into an e-bike display
With the SmartphoneGrip, you can use the Ride Screen. It not only shows you all the important ride data, but also offers full navigation with 3D map views – even in portrait mode.

Activity Tracking – Automatically record and analyse your ride data
The eBike Flow app records your ride data as soon as you set off. In the statistics, you’ll find valuable insights into your ride and fitness data – to analyse and share. If you wish, all data is also automatically synchronised with Apple Health.

koomot and Strava – Connect the eBike Flow app to your favourite apps
Transfer your routes from komoot to the eBike Flow app, synchronise your activities with Strava and share your achievements with your friends or your community.

Assist, Dynamic, maximum torque and maximum speed – you decide what you need. You can also put together your favourite riding modes. Choose from all the riding modes available for your e-bike.

Performance Upgrade 2.0 – Performance redefined
Unleash more power for your e-bike. The Performance Upgrade 2.0 delivers not only better acceleration but also stronger assistance. Thanks to software optimisations, you’ll enjoy more powerful propulsion and maintain speed for longer – with even more precise control. Maximum torque of up to 120 Nm via update. Variations may occur depending on the type of gear system. Higher performance settings may lead to increased wear and reduced range. The e-bike manufacturer may limit the maximum torque at the factory. In the eBike Flow app, therefore, only the maximum value authorised by the manufacturer can be set.

The drive units are supplied as standard with a maximum assistance level of 340% or 400% – depending on the model. These settings offer a balanced combination of performance, riding enjoyment, range and wear and tear.

Extended Boost – Precise boost. More momentum

Updates keep your eBike up to date and make it even better. You can easily download new eBike features and transfer them to your eBike via Bluetooth.

The eBike Flow app becomes your digital garage: you can add up to six eBikes to your account – and switch easily between them.

Digital service log
Your Bosch eBike dealer can synchronise your service appointment details with the eBike Flow app. Simply tap ‘My eBike’ in the app settings to view a record of what was done during your eBike’s servicing.

Trick Check – More skills. More fun.
Improve your skills and analyse your performance: Trick Check automatically recognises and records the type of trick you’ve performed, whether it’s jumps, stoppies, manuals or wheelies. To help you improve your riding technique, you’ll receive immediate feedback on the display and via an audible signal. Whilst riding, you’ll see the distance, duration, height or angle on your display for eight seconds. After your ride, you can find your best results in the eBike Flow app. This feature is enabled by default on your Kiox 400C and Purion 400. For all other displays, you can activate it at any time in the display settings, as well as switch the audible alert on and off. The sensors are configured to respond only to distinct tricks.

The Bosch Kiox 500 display is the ultimate tool for your sporting adventures. This robust and intelligent display offers intuitive control via the matching control unit and is compact as well as protected against water jets and dust. Compared to the Kiox 300, the Kiox 500’s color display is an impressive 40 per cent larger, meaning almost twice the screen area. Ideal for demanding rides and sporting challenges. With the Bosch Kiox 500 display, you can take your sporting adventures to a whole new level. Minimalist navigation function
The Kiox 500 display offers a clear and free navigation function that allows you to plan your route in the eBike Flow app or import it from komoot. The route is transferred to your display via Bluetooth, with an arrow showing your position and clear turn-by-turn directions guiding you along the way. The Kiox 500 even provides audio prompts, such as warnings before turns. It displays the estimated time of arrival, distance, time remaining and range depending on the riding mode, which you can easily access via the control unit.

Customisable display settings
The Kiox 500 display also allows you to customise the display layout via the eBike Flow app. You can set the order and content of the screens and personalise the status bar to suit your preferences. This ensures you get exactly the information you need whilst riding.

Display as a key
Another innovative feature is the option to use the Kiox 500 display as a key for your e-bike. You can remove it from its mount and store it safely to protect your e-bike. Simply reinsert the display to activate the motor assistance and continue your ride.

Boost performance and motivation
Like the Kiox 300, the Kiox 500 provides detailed route and fitness data, allowing you to compare your performance and cadence visually to keep your motivation high. After your ride, you can share all your recorded fitness data with Strava, Apple Health and komoot via the eBike Flow app.

Flexible display option
The Kiox 500 display is versatile and offers the option of using your smartphone with the eBike Flow app as a large display.

Always in the right gear
With gear-changing recommendations, you can shift gears more efficiently and ride in the optimal gear: the Kiox 500 provides guidance on when to shift up or down. If you’re riding an eBike with eShift, the electric gear-changing system, the display shows your current and maximum gears.

ABS modes: Cargo, Touring, Allroad, Trail
After braking, view your braking behaviour and get precise information on how long your braking distance was and how long it took you to come to a standstill. Use this knowledge to improve your braking technique, ride more anticipatively and even more safely.

With its compact design, the LED Controller is 65% smaller than the LED Remote. It blends seamlessly into the look of your e-bike. The result is a clean and modern look.

The enclosed clamp holds the LED controller securely to the handlebars and ensures long-lasting stability. Protected to IP55 standard, it easily withstands dust and splash water. The LED controller is powered by the e-bike system, and the battery is replaceable.

The LED controller is fully integrated into the smart system. Simply combine it with a display or the SmartphoneGrip to keep an eye on your ride data and check your battery level down to the nearest percentage.

Hill Start Assist
Place your foot on the pedal. Hold down the minus button for longer than one second. Start pedalling and get going.

Push assist
Hold down the minus button for more than a second and push the e-bike. When you stop, Hill Hold is activated.

Set your own range
With Range Control in the eBike Flow app, you can set the battery level at which you want to arrive at your destination. Your eBike intelligently adjusts the assistance to ensure the desired remaining range.

Anti-theft protection

Perfectly tailored
