Calculate frame size
The right size of your hardtail mountain-bike:
The Inside leg length is multiplied by 0.226 and thus you get the theoretical value of the frame size in inch. One inch equals 2.54 cm.
If the theoretical value is in-between two sizes, the following rule of thumb can be applied:
- choose the smaller size when riding athletically
- choose the larger size when riding tour-orientated
How to determine your Inside leg length:
The Inside leg length or stride height is the length of the inside of the leg. The most accurate way to measure your stride length is to use a spirit level and a tape measure or folding rule. Stand barefoot on a flat surface, clamp the spirit level horizontally between your legs and measure the distance from the upper edge of the spirit level to the ground. This value corresponds to your stride length.
Alternatively, you can also determine your frame height based on your height, see the table below. However, the method using inseam length is more accurate.

Frame-size in cm: multiply your Inside leg length by the factor 0.61. Frame size in inch: multiply your Inside leg length by the factor 0.24.If the theoretical value lies between two sizes, the following rule of thumb can be applied:

- Rather the next frame in size when riding tour-orientated
- Deduct approx. 5 cm (or 2 inches respectively) of the theoretical size when using spring-mounted seat posts.

Product information "AMS ZERO99 C:68X SLX 29 liquidgoblin´n´white"
Cube fitted a pair of Newmen Phase 30 carbon wheels for their low weight and rapid acceleration, then added grippy Schwalbe Racing Ray and Racing Ralph 2.35in tyres. A Fox 34 Float Factory SC Grip SL fork delivers 110mm of ground-smoothing travel up front, plus exceptional steering accuracy. It's backed up by a Fox Float SL Factory shock at the rear. And a Fox Transfer dropper post makes those riskier line choices that little bit more rapid.
FRAME Cube AMS ZERO99 C:68X SLX 29
Fast is light, fast is efficient, but above all fast means zero compromise. The AMS ZERO99 C:68X 29's frame is crafted from the premium carbon and weighs in at a stunning 1,600g, approximately. There's plenty of room for 2.4in tyres – and that means more grip and more control, even in the toughest conditions. Based on feedback from the XC and European Champion riders, chainstay length is tuned for optimum climbing whilst retaining excellent manoevrability. Slender tubes help keep the ride comfortable, rather than harsh. There are angle adjustment inserts to allow fine-tuning of the head angle. And with 110mm of travel front and a geometry that's tuned for agility and pace, you've got everything you need to get to the head of the pack.
Technologies
FSP4-Link
Suspension kinematics is vital to your bike's performance. At CUBE they use the FSP 4-Link for all their full suspension bikes, with a chainstay pivot and four bar suspension design. It's a proven method for creating active rear wheel travel independent of pedalling or braking forces. CUBE has carefully refine pivot placement for each bike depending on its intended use, so you can be sure of outstanding suspension performance on the trail.
Advanced Twin Mold
CUBE's Advanced Twin Mold process for the C:62®, C:68® and C:68X® carbon frames uses two precisely manufactured forms. The first form is to ensure an accurate layup. The second, inner form keeps every individual fibre precisely where it needs to be while the frame cures. The result is a significantly lighter, stronger frame, with fibre density tailored to anticipated loadings at specific points.
C:68X® Carbon Fiber Technology
Combining all the expertise from carbon frame building into the ultimate material, C:68X® carbon uses the optimum blend of fibre and nano particle-infused resin. Precision Advanced Twin Mold manufacturing means CUBE can avoid bonded sleeves or inserts, too. It's the new benchmark for light, stiff and strong.
Adjustable Headset Angle
When you're harnessing gravity, the trail is challenging and every second counts, the geometry of your CUBE is a critical component. That's why the adjustable headset allows you to tweak head angle, so you can set your bike up just the way you like it. A little slacker for more stability, or a little steeper for better agility. The choice is yours...
Universal Derailleur Hanger
One standard for all: gear hanger replacement made easy thanks to the innovative Universal Derailleur Hanger. With a design that includes some room for pivoting to help prevent chain jams, it improves shifting performance and works with all drivetrains. Best of all, it's a standard part that is available anywhere.
