Cube Aerium C:68X Pro greenfusion'n'black
Product information "Aerium C:68X Pro greenfusion'n'black"
Racing is all in the preparation, which is why CUBE sweated the detail for the Aerium C:68X Pro. Gearing you can rely on, courtesy of Sram's Rival AXS 2x12 drivetrain and a crank with a power meter, so you can keep an eye on your performance. Matching Sram Rival AXS hydraulic disc brakes – because the faster you can slow down, the faster you can ride. A Newmen Advanced A.50 SJ wheelset shod with Schwalbe Pro One Aero tyres, to keep you glued to the road. And, of course, the coup de grace – a race-proven C:68X® carbon frame optimised for aero and equipped with configurable storage and hydration options. As for the pedalling? That's up to you...

FRAME Aerium C:68X Pro
Developed in close collaboration with CUBE athlete and World Champion Lucy Charles-Barclay, the Aerium C:68X can rightly claim its title as the fastest frame CUBE has ever made. Every detail, from the aero fork design, disc brake integration and in-frame hydration and storage systems, has been designed with zero compromise, tested in the wind tunnel and then tested again under pressure, in race conditions. That's why, for example, CUBE fitted a high-rise bar for the medium and large sizes – because seemingly small touches make a difference. Lucy has full confidence in the frame and its configurable storage and hydration, and now you can, too.
Technologies
C:68X® Carbon Fibre Technology
Ride the Aerium C:68X however you prefer or however the course demands: the 2-speed setup offers a wide range of gear ratios and is super aerodynamic thanks to the recessed derailleur mount. Or switch to the cleaner 1-speed drivetrain for low weight and even better aerodynamics, with the derailleur mount hidden behind a cover supplied as standard.
Front derailleur cover
Thanks to High Performance Carbon (HPC), CUBE can build even lighter, more stable and stiffer frames from this already incredibly versatile material known as carbon. CUBE’s carefully thought-out frame designs, combined with varying thicknesses of material layers, allow for the perfect fine-tuning of performance. This ensures that every single frame meets CUBE’s high standards for (low) weight, stiffness, stability and durability.
Full Internal Cable Routing
With full internal cable routing, cable clutter and exposed brake and gear cables are a thing of the past. CUBE has redesigned the frame and handlebars from the ground up so that all cables can run internally, ensuring they do not detract from the bike’s clean look and lines. This internal cable routing looks better, is more aerodynamic and protects the cables from damage, which in turn reduces maintenance requirements. Simply perfect!
Cockpit System
The CUBE Aerium Cockpit System is more comprehensively configurable than almost any other of its kind. As standard, the Aerium C:68X comes with the ‘Low’ handlebars, alongside numerous other customisation options. A ‘High’ version can also be fitted as an option. This allows you to tailor your set-up entirely to your own needs, ensuring you’re always in the optimal position on the bike – for maximum comfort, endurance and performance. You also have the option to fit arm pads in various widths and stack heights. And, of course, the saddle stack and reach can be adjusted too. Because every watt counts!
Hydration System 2.0
You can only perform at your best if your hydration is right – especially your fluid intake. When cycling, this requires an easily accessible, customisable system with sufficient capacity that won’t let you down, even during long races. Thanks to the Hydration System 2.0, you can drink without changing your position on the bike. This configurable set-up consists of a hydration system on the top tube and an additional hydration bladder inside the frame, directly above the bottom bracket.
Storage System
If you’re racing, you need to be well-supplied whilst on the go – for example, with energy gels or bars. But where do you put them on the bike? Our versatile, modular Storage System has the answer. It gives you access to all your extra calories without having to alter your aerodynamic position on the bike. So you save valuable time because your food is right at your fingertips. The system can also be adapted to suit individual needs and preferences. Small details – big difference!
Twin Head Tube
The Twin Head Tube on our Aerium looks super stylish, but it can do much more: to maximise aerodynamics, it reduces drag at top speeds – and that’s what it’s all about, after all! In strong crosswinds, this double-tube profile also remains reliably stable, thereby optimising steering precision.
Aero-Optimised Geometry
The biggest enemy for anyone who likes to go fast: air resistance. Luckily, thanks to extensive wind tunnel testing, complex CFD analyses and feedback from athletes, we’ve developed the Aero Optimised Geometry. This allows you to squeeze every last drop of performance out of yourself and your bike. It rides with stability yet remains agile – and is guaranteed to be lightning fast!
Advanced Twin Mold
In the Advanced Twin Mold process for the C:62®, C:68® and C:68X® carbon frames, CUBE uses two precision moulds. The first ensures an exact lay-up, whilst the second (the inner core) holds every single fibre in its intended position as the frame cures. The result is an incredibly light, stable chassis with a fibre density optimally tailored to each high-stress junction.
Extra Storage
Need more hydration or extra space for a CO₂ cartridge or a spare inner tube? We’ve thought of that too with the Aerium C:68X: above the bottom bracket, there’s space for either a hydration bladder or your emergency kit. This easily accessible area is aerodynamically sealed with a cover system.
