It combines Vectran and PolyX Breaker technologies for strong puncture protection and incorporates selected alternative raw materials, including silica variants derived from rice husk ash, sustainably sourced natural rubber in accordance with Continental’s Sustainable Natural Rubber Policy, and a renewable plasticiser.

Optimised tread pattern
A blend of a symmetrical, redefined centre section with newly designed, repeating drainage elements and a transition zone featuring a sipe design.
Sustainable materials
Pure CONTACT contains selected alternative raw materials, including silica variants derived from rice husk ash, sustainably sourced natural rubber in accordance with Continental’s Sustainable Natural Rubber Policy, and a renewable plasticiser. According to internal calculation methods, these raw materials currently account for around one third of the tyre’s total material composition.
