The ContiTube tube programme makes it easy for you to find the optimum tube for your requirements. The particularly clear and user-friendly tube system has been perfectly adapted in size, design, valve type and length to the respective tyre dimensions and intended use. Different tube types allow you to influence the riding characteristics of your bike with little effort:
- The standard inner tube, which is available in all dimensions (in the Race, Tour and MTB categories), offers the best compromise for everyday requirements.
- The Light and Supersonic inner tubes are suitable for lower weight and lower rolling resistance. However, the reduced wall thickness down to 0.45 mm also increases the risk of punctures. In addition, light tubes need to be re-inflated more frequently.
- The Hermetic Plus tube, on the other hand, is an all-round carefree product. Thanks to its improved formula, it is more compact and lighter, while the increased butyl content and greater wall thickness make it particularly puncture-proof. Because it also holds air for an extra long time, it is the favourite of many bike rental companies.
- The special freeride and downhill tubes from Continental are also particularly strong and voluminous. Their extra-thick walls provide effective protection against punctures.
