Next-generation technology and design combined in one tyre- The new Mountain King is the result of the close collaboration between adidas and Continental. As an all mountain tyre with Enduro character, the tyre offers the ideal traction experience and connects the rider with the trail. BlackChili Compound and the carcass work together to create a full driving experience. The newly positioned cleats promise a lower weight and offer good handling, even on softer surfaces and wet conditions. While the centre studs are geared to acceleration and speed, the deep-seated outer studs provide stability and surfing on the trail.
- The sidewall of the tyre has been completely reworked and convinces with a clear design language. The Mountain King's new carcass also incorporates Continental's new Tubeless-Ready concept, which as a pioneer of the next generation offers completely new comfort, from set-up to trail. With its new core and sidewall construction, the tyre provides an ideal seal on the rim.

- Better than ever before, the new Continental ProTection casing. The extra all-round puncture protection layer renders the casings especially durable and insensitive to damage or penetration from foreign elements. Treads and sidewalls are equally protected, and are 25 % lighter and offer 30 % more puncture protection than their predecessors protected by DuraSkin®. Rolling resistance and absorption has also significantly improved. The new Made in Germany technology allows it to withstand even the hardest trails across the world.
- What’s more: they’re universally usable, are inspired by BlackChili Compound and have an Easy, fast, safe Designed without compromise for use in mountain bike racing: The RaceSport casings combine consistent lightweight construction and noticeable superior puncture protection at the highest level. In cooperation with renowned professional mountain bikers we have created the perfect basis for competition tyres. Handmade in Germany, they offer rolling friction and puncture protection of World Cup quality. The structure makes the difference: a particularly fine and flexible nylon fabric with elaborately manufactured protecting rubber lining and universal aesthetically pleasing sidewall design. The new Revolution Tubeless Ready Bead improves the application of Tubeless Ready Tyres. For optimal results with sealing for tubeless use and whilst riding, we recommend the application of the new Continental RevoSealant.

Ein sehr guter Universal- und Sorglosreifen, trocken oder nass, harter und weicher Untergrund, Grip, Pannenschutz, Laufleistung; der Reifen hat einfach keine echten Schwächen. Aber nicht für Schlamm oder nur hart&trocken, wiegt 715g, Ich fahre konventionell mit Schlauch; sinnvoll sind Felgenmaulweiten um 23-27mm,

Gegenüber dem 2017er MountainKing nochmal ein weiterer Fortschritt. Leicht, langlebig, Top Grip und auch für Schlauchlos ein Top-Reifen. Halt Handmade in Germany.

Vorn und hinten montiert. Rollen im Gelände bei ca. 2bar wunderbar bei optimalem Grip. Auf Asphalt kleben sie ziemlich fest, relativ hoher Rollwiderstand.
