The next generation of clothing for bad weather racing: The Gabba R rain jacket from Castelli
The waterproof fabric fits close to the body without restricting freedom of movement. The sleeves are cut in such a way that they can also be worn with gloves without straining the wrist. Castelli has added three mesh pockets on the back where you can stow everything you need, but the mesh ensures that the pockets don't fill up with water and get in the way. The extended fabric on the back of the jacket offers additional protection from splashing water and a reflective strip increases visibility. Castelli has once again raised the bar for competition clothing in bad weather.

- Castelli's Esclusiv fabric with microporous electrospun hydrophilic polyurethane membrane
- The outer membrane keeps the jacket lightweight and breathable by avoiding additional layers that would retain moisture
- The fabric weighs only 125 g/m2 and stretches to at least twice its original size in every direction
- The inner fabric back panel is made of 78% polyester / 22% elastane to maintain extreme stretch and improve breathability
- The polyurethane membrane has been formulated to be more hydrophobic than standard polyurethane
- Elastic wrist closure to keep water out
- Waterproof YKK® Vislon® zipper
