Designed specifically with the rigors of e-bikes and daily commuting in mind, the new Thudbuster ST includes 50mm of travel to significantly diminish shocks and impacts from broken pavement, cobblestones or any other mixed surfaces.
The All-New Thudbuster is now able to support riders up to 330lbs (150kg) and incorporates a tool-free, interchangeable elastomer system to quickly and easily adjust the seat post for a variety of rider weights. Installing and adjusting your seat on the new Thudbuster is easier than ever as well with a single bolt design that secures the seat with a few turns of a standard hex tool.

It doesn't give your bike full suspension, it still rides like a normal bike, except your butt won't hurt anymore. By subjective feel it absorbs about 2/3 of the magnitude of shocks, which with a good seat and chamois is plenty, Seat soreness for me is not a limiting factor anymore, even with 100+ km rides. The build quality is great, the construction feels solid, and while the too-universal single bolt saddle clamp design leaves a bit to be desired, you just need to tighten it well and it does its job. I greased the elastomer with some rubber-friendly grease and after 2500 km it keeps working perfectly, without any creaking or required maintenance. A dust cover is probably worth getting too.
Die Sattelstütze mache was sie soll, nämlich Stösse abfedern, sehr gut. Allerdings ist es nicht möglich (ich 95kg) die Sattel fest zu arretieren. Schon garnicht mit den empfohlenen 16Nm. Dies entspricht auch anderen Rezensionen welche ich auf Seiten anderer Anbieter gefunden habe. Ist einfach nur schade.
Top verarbeitete Sattelstütze! Die Lager laufen sehr weich ohne Spiel. Was man allerdings auch bei einer Sattelstütze dieses Preises erwarten darf. Durch die Elastomere lässt sich der Federwiderstand perfekt einstellen!
