The heart of the Shamal Dual Profile is its revolutionary design. A modular rim profile optimized in the wind tunnel in combination with differentiated hub flanges enables the use of shorter spokes. This results in increased overall stiffness while maintaining riding comfort. The use of carbon fibres with a C-LUX finish guarantees optimum riding characteristics in all conditions, even when using wide tires for gravel use.

A special feature of the Shamal Dual Profile is the 2-way fit system. It offers riders the flexibility to choose between classic clincher tires and tubeless tires. The drill-less upper rim bridge makes the use of sealing tape superfluous and considerably simplifies the fitting of tubeless tires.

Campagnolo's patented G3 spoking ensures perfect tension balance and optimum stiffness, which guarantees efficient power transfer from the pedal to the road. Aluminum hubs with plain and tapered bearing system contribute to smooth running and allow for easy maintenance.

G3 SPOKE GEOMETRY

• Campagnolo's G3 geometry revolutionizes the conventional spoke configuration for road wheels. Groups of three parallel spokes are arranged in a 2:1 ratio, creating an optimal tension balance. This innovative arrangement increases stiffness, improves power transmission and reduces weight. The triplet pattern minimizes vibrations and rim deformation under load. On the front wheel there are more spokes on the disk side, while on the rear wheel the spokes on the cassette side are doubled. G3 spoking can be found in the Bora WTO and Bora Ultra WTO road wheels, the Shamal series and all Campagnolo aluminum wheels.

N3W (NEXT 3 WAYS)

• N3W is a patented freehub body standard developed for 11-, 12- and 13-speed cassettes from 9, 10 and 11 teeth, but remains compatible with older 9- and 10-speed cassettes. An N3W ring enables compatibility with current cassettes from 11 teeth upwards. N3W is 4.4 mm shorter than the classic freehub body, resulting in a remarkable weight saving. The N3W Light version with aluminum hub offers maximum torsional rigidity and performance control. This freehub body is used in the carbon wheels of the Bora WTO, Bora Ultra WTO, Hyperon Ultra and Shamal Carbon series.

MOMAG™

• MOMAG™ is an innovative "Mounting Magnet" system for the positioning of spoke nipples. The nipples are inserted through the valve hole and guided magnetically to the spoke engagement point. This results in an unperforated rim bed with conventional spoking. The advantages are a homogeneous rim structure, higher fatigue strength, the possibility of greater spoke tension and greater stiffness. It also considerably simplifies maintenance and spoke replacement. MOMAG™ technology is used in the carbon wheels of the Bora WTO, Shamal, Levante and Hyperon Ultra series.

2-Way Fit™

• The 2-Way Fit™ technology enables the use of both tubeless and classic clincher tires on the same wheel. It offers advantages such as increased comfort and reduced rolling friction with tubeless tires. In the event of a puncture, tubeless tires do not suddenly deflate, which is a safety advantage. The tubeless solution also eliminates the risk of snake-bite punctures. The system makes it easy to switch to a classic inner tube in the event of a puncture. 2-Way Fit™ is used in all Campagnolo carbon wheels and Shamal Ultra aluminum wheels.

C-LUX FINISH

• The C-LUX finish is a high-gloss surface treatment for Campagnolo carbon rims. It is achieved by precisely controlling the outer resin layer of the carbon fiber structure. The result is a flawless surface without additional painting, which saves weight. In the rim channel, the C-LUX surface improves the positioning and sealing of tubeless tires. The fascinating reflections of the exposed carbon fiber and the essential lines turn Campagnolo wheels into design icons.
