The Shimano STEPS E6100 is a compact and efficient mid-drive e-bike motor, specially designed for comfortable everyday riding, commuting and extended trekking tours. With a maximum torque of 60 Nm and a rated continuous power output of 250 watts, the drive unit provides smooth and natural pedal assistance. Whether in city traffic, on longer cycle tours or on inclines – the motor ensures a comfortable and controlled riding experience.
Thanks to its energy-efficient drive concept, the Shimano STEPS E6100 utilises the available battery capacity particularly efficiently, thereby supporting a long range. The compact design allows for a short rear triangle, thereby improving the e-bike’s manoeuvrability. At the same time, the narrow, symmetrical Q-factor ensures a natural pedalling position and an ergonomic pedalling feel.
When used with compatible Shimano Di2 electronic gear systems, the E6100 enables fully automatic gear changes, which further enhances riding comfort. The Shimano E-TUBE PROJECT software also allows the cut-off speed of the motor assistance to be configured within the specified system limits.
