As riders' demands increase, so does the need for comfort and safety. With Spherical Technology™ powered by MIPS®, the XR Spherical offers added safety. The impact forces are redirected so that the outer helmet shell can rotate around the inner shell in the event of an impact. Thanks to the channels inside the dual-density EPS shell, the XR Spherical achieves superior ventilation management in combination with a low weight.

Technologies
MIPS Spherical®
MIPS Spherical is the further development of the Multi-Directional Impact Protection System. Manufactured in the typical design, the two layers of EPP foam in two degrees of hardness act as a kind of joint that can move a few millimeters in each direction, effectively reducing rotational energy at certain impact angles.
In-Mold
With the In-Mold construction, the robust polycarbonate outer shell is bonded to the impact-absorbing EPS inner shell in a single operation during the foaming process. This makes the helmet even more resistant without adding weight. This production process also makes it possible to create significantly better ventilation systems and ventilation openings. Compared to traditional helmets, in-mold helmets are therefore lighter and have significantly better ventilation systems.
Float Fit
Bell's most advanced helmet fit system combines comfort and safety in an ultra-lightweight design. Float Fit™ optimizes the fit of the helmet in 2 ways - in terms of head circumference and vertical adjustability. To reduce weight and simplify usability, the guide arms wrap around the back of the head in a unique way thanks to the "Float" design. This brings the helmet into an ideal position on the head. Simple, light and comfortable.
Roll Cage
The Roll Cage™ is a reinforcement made of particularly impact-resistant Nylon®, which is embedded directly into the EPS inner foam of Bell's best helmets. It provides an extra level of stability and safety.
