Q-LITE
Seeing contrasts sharply is an elementary feature of sports eyewear for ALPINA. That's why we developed the contrast-enhancing Q-Lite technology, which makes contrasts on the trail and on the road more visible, makes colors appear richer and ensures sharper vision. Eyes can stay focused longer, they are less stressed and more powerful at crucial moments.
Quattroflex
The polarizing filter in the Quattroflex lenses, provides maximum function. Reflections and glare are effectively eliminated by it and contrasts are clearly emphasized. Quattroflex lenses are brighter than regular polarized lenses and are suitable for a wide range of uses from water sports to golf to winter sports.
CERAMIC
Ceramic is the basic material of the lens. It is shatterproof and thus offers excellent protection for the eye.
MIRROR
Mirror is a lens on which several layers of mirrors are applied. They protect against extreme glare and infrared light. Mirror is not only a feature of a highly functional lens, but also a style element.
FOGSTOP
Fogstop is a coating on the inside of the lenses. The coating is not smooth but rough - even "fissured" on a microscopic level. As a result, the drops have no possibility to form a closed layer, i.e. to fog up and thus obscure the view. This would only happen if the moisture manages to fill the fissures with water. Before this happens, however, the deposited moisture has long since condensed and the view remains clear.
HYDROPHOBIC
Hydrophobic is a moisture-repellent nanostructure on the windshield that allows water to bead off. At the same time, dirt is also transported away. As a result, the lens is not only clean, but also dries faster.
2-COMP
The combination of hard frame, soft, rubberized temple ends and nose pads increases the comfort and fit of the glasses.
ADAPTABLE NOSEPAD
Cold-adjustable, rubberized nose pads allow for optimal fit to any nose width and shape. The rubber coating effectively prevents slippage and ensures a secure fit of the glasses.
OPTIMIZED AIRFLOW
A highly curved lens combined with indirect airflow management ensures draft-free, fog-free vision even during fast-paced outdoor sports.
