Nach fast zwei Jahren Wartezeit waren die Acid Schutzbleche dann endlich auch in 26" lieferbar, meine Erwarungen waren entsprechend hoch: Nachdem ich aus der alten Version mein 29" Hardtail mit Reba-Gabel und 2.25er Straßenreifen zu einem brauchbaren Allrounder gebaut hatte wollte ich nun noch drei 26"er meiner Familie umbauen: Durch die neue Formgebung passen die Schutzbleche nun vorne nicht mehr unter Reba/Recon Gabeln, sogar bei 2,15er Reifen (Big Ben) schleifen diese nun. Abhilfe hatte eine Kunststoffsäge gebracht... Ansonsten gut verarbeitet!
An´s Carbon-Hardtail mit Magura Gabel gebaut - musste bisschen basteln, was aufgrund fehlender Befestigungspunkte an Rahmen und Gabel vorher klar war. Stabiler als andere Lösungen und mit relativ vielen Befestigungsoptionen funktioniert es bisher top, ohne dass sich dauern wieder was verzieht und dann am Reifen schleift.
