I was initially skeptical that a truing stand at this price point would be capable of delivering accurate results. After watching several Park Tool videos, where the same process is performed on much more expensive stands, and then trying it myself on the Feedback Sports stand, I can confidently say that it does the job very well. So far, I've used it on a downhill rear wheel that was significantly out of true and on a 25-year-old trekking bike wheel. In both cases, the stand performed flawlessly and made the truing process straightforward and precise. I do have one minor quality concern. I mounted the black base plate to a wooden workbench and attached the red upright tube as intended. While installing a tire, I applied a substantial amount of force to the stand, and the small tube connecting the upright to the base plate broke off. Upon inspection, I found that it had been attached to the base plate with only four small spot welds. In my opinion, this is a case of cost-cutting in the wrong place. I had the joint rewelded properly with a continuous weld around the entire circumference of the tube, and since then it has been completely solid. Despite this issue, the stand offers excellent value for money and performs far better than I expected for the price.
I previously trued wheels using a plastic indicator mounted on the bike. After trying the Radon Truing Stand R513, which did not meet my expectations, I purchased this stand as a more affordable alternative to Park Tool for occasional use. Although it is a one-sided stand, I prefer it by far. The construction is very well engineered, it supports both traditional quick-release wheels and thru-axles without adapters, and the caliper arm is easy to adjust. The stand feels stable and solid in use. Most importantly, wheel truing became noticeably easier and more accurate. Compared with the Radon stand, which felt heavier but less confidence-inspiring, this stand performs much better. It is also significantly less expensive than comparable Park Tool or Radon models and folds away easily when not in use. The savings were enough to purchase a tension meter and a wheel dishing gauge as well. These together make wheel truing a breeze, and I feel confident enough to start building my own wheels.
