The TACTICA KIESKÄFER T5 replaces the GTC KIESPANZER C2 with a lighter, more breathable and more compressive construction. It offers optimized performance on gravel paths and single trails. The most important improvements are the Type.911 textile and the stabilizing rollBar system, which have been adopted from the Racing Series and transfer high-intensity road performance to the terrain. The thigh pockets are also larger and offer more storage space, so you have easy access to important items and energy sources on the ride. For the T5 generation, ASSOS has also updated the insert with more shock-absorbing foam to dampen rattles and cushion repeated impacts on gravel and trails.
Features - Tactica Gravel Beetle T5
- Type.911: a textile with a silky-smooth, abrasion-resistant texture that provides stabilizing compression. The black is deeper than the previous model and does not lose its intensity even when stretched; it is also water-repellent and dries quickly to prevent weight gain due to residual moisture, has odorControl properties and protects with UPF 50+.
- Tactica T5: The movement-enhancing TACTICA T5 fit is less aggressive than the racingFit and manages the balancing act between streamlined aerodynamics with low volume, comfort over many hours and fewer restrictions when you're not in the saddle.
- zeroPressure Waist: A waistband made of highly elastic material that fits like a second skin and at the same time reduces pressure in aggressive riding positions.
- rollBar: A patented reinforcement design that ASSOS has adopted from the Racing Series. It stabilizes the insert and keeps it in place when you shift your weight while sprinting, climbing and cornering.
- PILtec Plug-In: The leg opening is fitted with a lightweight, ultra-breathable textile band. The micro-dot silicone treatment, invisible from the outside, stabilizes the fit and provides support even in wet conditions.
- Integrated Storage: Two triple-ramp thigh pockets provide secure storage space for essentials that you can easily access while riding on gravel or trails requires your full attention.
