Versatile, adaptable and protective speed hiking shoe: the Pedroc PTX from Salewa
The strong upper material made of ripstop mesh and the TPU coating on the side offer high abrasion resistance and thus provide optimum protection against rock and scree. The SALEWA® 3F system ensures the best possible stability and support even in rough terrain: the patented system connects the instep area with the heel, ensuring a snug fit with great freedom of movement.
If the terrain gets wet and slippery, the Pomoca™ Speed Hiker Pro outsole scores points: the tread pattern and the S-Path design, which allows ideal rolling, provide the necessary grip and maximum stability on rock, mud or grass. The EVA midsole, which is located between the outsole and upper material, ensures optimum cushioning and a high level of comfort.
The Pedroc PTX is equipped with a PFC-free, waterproof membrane and is part of the SALEWA® Committed collection, in which products are manufactured according to independently audited environmental and social standards.

A traction zone next to the gliding path provides grip on different terrains thanks to the lug structure.
POWERTEX
POWERTEX offers the optimum combination of performance, weight, durability and comfort. It has a waterproof PU-based membrane. During aerobic activities, the breathable membrane wicks moisture away to the outside, reducing condensation on the inside and ensuring a pleasantly warm and dry interior climate. Our POWERTEX functional materials are available in three different performance categories (2-, 2.5- AND 3-layer versions).
