The La Sportiva Aequilibrium Hike GORE-TEX® hiking shoes are a manoeuvrable, lightweight mid-cut boot that fits seamlessly into the versatile Aequilibrium family and was developed for demanding hikes in mixed terrain. The synthetic fabric ensures minimal weight and good breathability without compromising on protection and durability - supported by abrasion-resistant edging in the most critical areas such as the toe and heel.
At the same time, the 3D Flex System Evo™ offers natural flexibility and mobility in the ankle area, maximising grip and safety on any surface - from trails to pathless terrain.
The shoes are 100% waterproof thanks to the GORE-TEX Extended Comfort membrane, which remains breathable and guarantees dry, comfortable feet in all weather conditions. The polyurethane foam midsole with abrasion-resistant TPU film and the 5 mm La Sportiva Mountain Hiking insole provide cushioning and comfort on long tours. Weighing approx. 480 g per shoe (size 42), they feel light and agile.
The Vibram® tread sole with Impact Brake System brakes effectively downhill, supports uphill and is resoleable to extend the lifespan and maintain quality in the long term. Elements such as recycled laces and bluesign®-certified materials emphasise sustainability. The double heel construction promotes smooth rolling and stable support.
