The highlights of the SWOOP 10.0 HD
At first glance, the Fox Factory suspension catches the eye: the Fox 38 Factory with FIT GRIP2 cartridge at the front and the Fox Float X2 Factory at the rear are the flagship of the suspension specialists from the USA and impress not only with their shiny gold Kashima coating. Are you one of those riders who want to get the most out of their suspension? With the GRIP2 cartridge, all damping parameters, from HSC/LSC to HSR/LSR, can be adjusted separately, meaning that the 170 mm can be customised to suit your riding style and route. Whether it's a fast downhill or an energy-sapping climb: the SRAM EAGLE 12-speed drivetrain with a high-quality mix of GX and X01 components not only provides you with a huge range, but also benefits from extremely crisp and fast gear changes as well as a high level of reliability in tough everyday enduro riding. With the Maxxis Assegai and Minion DHR II, both in the 3C Maxxterra rubber compound and lightweight Exo+ carcass, you always have a high level of grip and benefit from well-balanced handling even at the limits. Should the pace be over the limit, drop the anchor and let the superb Hayes Dominion A4 slow you down as quickly as possible. Ergonomics, workmanship and modulation are at the highest level, and with the 203 mm discs at the front and rear you have plenty of braking power. With so many highlights, it should also be mentioned that a lightweight Race Face SixC Carbon and the Fox Transfer Factory dropper are not expensive extras. The SWOOP 10.0 HD - high-end as standard!
The SWOOP family
The requirements for the development of the carbon version of the SWOOP were clear - fresh design, modern kinematics and new shock linkage. The result is a light and stiff carbon main frame with a solid aluminium rear triangle. No stone has been left unturned. Progressive geometry, 29" wheels, adjustable geometry, 170mm travel - no compromises have been made here! The kinematics even allow coil shocks. We have kept the chainstays short at 438 mm for high manoeuvrability and despite the long wheelbase and flat steering angle, even tight bends are child's play. The highlight is the swivelling headset, which can change the steering angle by 1.5 degrees.
