Shimano XT CS-M8200 12-speed cassette

The Shimano CS-M8200 with Hyperglide+ for smoother and faster shifting under load is the matching micro-spline cassette for the new DEORE XT M8200 Di2 12-speed groupset. The high-quality cassette offers a large gear ratio and is also lighter, more stable and more durable.

The CS-M8200 is the further development of HYPERGLIDE+ shifting technology. The cassette's new tooth profiles improve shifting behaviour under high loads while remaining smooth, fast and durable. The cassette with 9-45 teeth offers a gear range of 500 % and is therefore ideal for compact drivetrains without major losses in gear range. The cassette with 10-51 teeth offers a gear range of 510%, making it the most versatile cassette in the XT family. They are also compatible with MICRO SPLINE and consist of steel and aluminium sprockets for an optimum weight/durability ratio.

Since its introduction in the early 1980s, the DEORE XT from Shimano has revolutionised mountain biking with every new edition. The DEORE XT M8200 Di2 is the latest version of the legendary groupset and, with its components, offers all types of mountain bikers stunningly fast and reliable shifting, a robust drivetrain design and a clever braking system. The DEORE XT M8200 Di2 benefits from the latest developments of Shimano's recently launched MTB flagship, the XTR M9200 Race groupset. The technologies and design of the DEORE XT are based on the XTR. The result is a groupset that meets the everyday and special requirements of mountain biking and consistently redefines what is possible in terms of performance on two wheels.

Shimano XT CN-M8100 12-speed chain with Quick-Link SM-CN910-12

The special design of the new Shimano XT CN-M8100 12-speed chain ensures improved shifting behaviour and smoother running - even on rough terrain. The SM-CN910-12 quick-link fastener, which is also new, enables easy installation. The XT CN-M8100 HYPERGLIDE+ chain has been optimised from the ground up and is an integral part of the new drivetrain. With its high-precision moulded contact surfaces to the chainring and cassette teeth, it ensures fast, precise and smooth shifting in both directions even under the highest loads. Chrome-plated inner plates further increase durability.

MICRO SPLINE
MICRO SPLINE MICRO SPLINE reduces weight with a lightweight FREEHUB cassette hub, whereby the largest chainring has 10 teeth. Use in combination with MICRO SPLINE cassette sprocket and FREEHUB.
