PROLITE 66 TRIPLE BUTTED ALUMINIUM
We use the tried-and-tested PROLITE 66 (6066) aluminium in the manufacture of our high-end aluminium frames. It is extremely light, durable and can be optimally processed with our hydroforming technology. Triple butted tube wall thicknesses, complex tube shapes and an outstanding stiffness-to-weight ratio ensure top-level performance - visually close to carbon.
HFS - HYDRO FORMING SYSTEM
Using the hydroforming process, aluminium tubes are pressed into a negative mould under high pressure. This produces perfectly shaped, particularly light and elegant tubes with optimised wall thicknesses for maximum stability with minimum weight.
X-TAPER HEAD TUBE
The tapered head tube with a larger diameter at the bottom and smaller at the top increases steering precision and stiffness. It is designed for tapered forks and ensures safe, confidence-inspiring handling without unnecessary extra weight.
SMOOTH WELDING
Smoothing the weld seams gives our frames a particularly elegant finish. This elaborate process not only improves the look, but also ensures extremely stable aluminium frames with a carbon-like appearance.
INTERNAL CABLE ROUTING
Internal cable routing protects shift and brake cables from the elements, provides a tidy look and offers aerodynamic advantages. The cables are neatly routed through the frame.
SMART ENTRY
The SMART ENTRY system effectively prevents internally routed cables from rattling on uneven surfaces. Cables and hoses are kept under tension, are interchangeable and compatible with all standard cable housings.
DI2 READY
The frame is prepared for electronic Shimano Di2 shifting systems. Cables, battery and mounting points can be neatly integrated - for fast, precise and reliable shifting.
F-MOUNT
Integrated mounting eyelets make it easy to fit mudguards. Ideal for commuters and rides in all weathers. Please note: Model-specific mudguards are sometimes required.
K-MOUNT
Integrated mounting base on the chainstay for mounting a MERIDA kickstand or commercially available models. Discreetly and almost invisibly integrated into the frame when not in use.
C-MOUNT
Integrated mounting points for pannier racks enable quick, secure mounting. Perfect for everyday use, commuting and shopping. Please note: In some cases, model-specific luggage carriers are required.
CASTING MOTOR BRACKET
The cast motor interface ensures an extremely stable connection between the motor and frame. The complex, lightweight design improves performance, durability and gives the E-Bike a clean look.
ENERGY GUARD TWIST
Two-part battery cover to protect against dirt and moisture. The softer outer layer absorbs shocks, while the tool-free twist lock allows quick and secure access to the integrated battery.
