Control and comfort are provided by a RockShox Psylo Silver R suspension fork with 160 mm travel, combined with a RockShox Deluxe rear shock. The precise Shimano CUES 1x12-speed drivetrain guarantees reliable performance in any terrain, while hydraulic Tektro Gemini 4-piston disc brakes deliver powerful and easily controllable braking power. HFS - HYDRO FORMING SYSTEM
Various forms of processing are used to get the best out of an aluminium tube. The most complex and at the same time most effective is hydroforming. The aluminium tube is placed in a negative mould and a hot emulsion of water and oil is pressed through it under high pressure. The result is perfectly formed aluminium tubes that form the basis for beautifully shaped and lightweight aluminium frames.
X-TAPER HEADTUBE
High steering precision is crucial for safe and confident handling. The X-TAPER HEADTUBE significantly improves this precision. A larger headset diameter in the lower section and a smaller one in the upper section cope with the high loads of modern riding styles without adding unnecessary weight. At the same time, it enables easy installation of tapered forks and ensures precise, confidence-inspiring steering behaviour.
SMOOTH WELDING
This process ensures a particularly clean and flat finish to the weld seams. By passing the welding torch over the seam again, the filler material is smoothed, thus avoiding visual unevenness. The result is an extremely stable and elegant frame that looks like carbon fibre.
INTERNAL CABLE ROUTING
Shift and brake cables are routed internally through the frame. Depending on the model, the cables are routed via discreet stops or systems such as SMART ENTRY or WIRE PORT. This protects the cables from the weather, ensures a tidy appearance and offers additional aerodynamic advantages.
DI2 READY
The electronic Di2 shifting system from Shimano enables fast, precise and reliable shifting. The corresponding frames are prepared for the integration of electrical cables, batteries and other system-relevant components.
RACELITE 61 ALUMINIUM
Grade 6061 aluminium is used, which is ideal for hydroforming and technoforming processes. Varying wall thicknesses create double butted tubes and complex frame shapes. After careful heat treatment, the result is stable yet lightweight bicycle frames that are great fun to ride.
K-MOUNT
An integrated K-MOUNT on the chainstay makes it easier to fit a MERIDA kickstand or standard kickstand. If no kickstand is used, the mount remains discreetly concealed and does not detract from the look of the bike.
CASTING MOTOR BRACKET
The motor interface of an e-bike frame is manufactured using casting technology to create a complex yet lightweight shape. This creates an extremely stable connection between the motor and frame, which supports performance, reliability and a clean look.
NON-SLIP TIGHTENING
A system that enables important bolts to be tightened with just one tool. Specially shaped screw heads grip into corresponding recesses in the frame and prevent them from turning. Damaged threads or screws can therefore be easily replaced.
INTERNAL BLOCK SYSTEM
This system limits the steering angle in both directions and prevents the fork crown from damaging the down tube. An additional rubber coating protects the frame and fork in the event of falls or extreme steering angles.
ENERGY GUARD TWIST
Two-component battery cover for integrated batteries. It reliably protects against dirt and moisture, absorbs impacts with a softer outer layer and is securely fastened with a tool-free twist lock - even on demanding terrain.
P-FLEX
A suspension design without a classic pivot point on the seat stay. The targeted flex of the material and the special tube shape allow the seat stays and chainstays to move during compression. This reduces weight and maintenance costs and increases structural rigidity.
WIRE PORT
Headset cables are routed from the handlebars through the headset cover directly into the frame. This ensures a particularly clean look as well as a lighter, more stable and more aerodynamic frame construction. Depending on the model, the cable routing is fully or semi-integrated.
FAST KINEMATIC

Trail mode
