The eONE-FORTY may be the little sibling of the multi-award-winning and tested eONE-SIXTY, but when it comes to agile trail handling combined with outstanding flow and fun, it is second to none. Equipped with Shimano's powerful yet refined EP8 drive with a 630 Wh battery seamlessly integrated into the frame, it is the perfect partner for all kinds of adventures. The trail-specific, balanced geometry is tuned to a mixed 29er/27.5" wheel size, providing flow and fun for riders of all abilities, while a steeper seat angle increases climbing performance - ideal for all-day e-bike action. The low bottom bracket and reduced standover height provide additional confidence, while the 140 mm travel at the front and 130 mm at the rear provide more control, comfort and real off-road capability.

Nano Matrix Carbon
NANO MATRIX CARBON is a special type of carbon fiber in which we add very small nanoscale particles to the resin that holds the individual carbon fibers together. These act on a molecular level to protect against damage. The technology is so effective that it can increase the impact strength of the carbon fiber by up to 40%, allowing us to build stronger and lighter composite frames. This in turn leads to faster and more durable bikes.
HFS-Hydro Forming System
Whether in terms of shape or wall thickness, we use various forms of processing to get the best out of an aluminum tube. The most complex, but also the most effective, is hydroforming. Here, the aluminum tube is placed in a negative mould and a hot emulsion of water and oil is pressed through it under pressure. The end result is a perfectly formed aluminum tube that allows us to produce beautifully shaped and lightweight aluminum frames.
X-TAPER HEADTUBE
Steering precision is crucial for safe and confident handling. With the X-TAPER HEADTUBE, we can significantly improve this precision. A larger headset diameter at the bottom and a smaller one at the top help to cope with the stresses that modern riding styles and equipment can put on the head tube without adding unnecessary weight. The X-TAPER HEADTUBE allows easy installation of tapered forks and ensures precise and confidence-inspiring steering behavior.
SMOOTH WELDING
We use this process to give our weld seams a beautiful, flat finish. In this way, we avoid the unsightly visual side effects associated with TIG welding. The welder passes the welding torch over the seam twice, smoothing out the filler material. This requires a great deal of skill, but results in extremely stable and elegant frames that look like carbon at first glance.
INTERNAL CABLE ROUTING
In most of our frames, we route the shift and brake cables through the frame. They are either routed in and out through inconspicuous stops, or we use systems such as SMART ENTRY or WIRE PORT. Internal cable routing protects the shift and brake cables from the weather, ensures a clean, tidy look and also offers aerodynamic advantages.
Internal Block System
The INTERNAL BLOCK SYSTEM limits the amount of steering angle in both directions, preventing the fork crown from hitting the down tube of the frame and causing damage in the event of a fall. This is achieved by a tab in the frame which, together with a special adapter on the fork, limits the steering angle in both directions. A rubber coating on the frame itself also protects the frame and fork.
Thermo Gate
The battery of an e-bike generates heat during use. However, too much heat can reduce the efficiency and service life of the battery cells. THERMO GATE is a feature that is used on our e-mountainbikes with carbon frames. Although it looks like an air intake, it is designed to work like a chimney so that the warm air can escape upwards. This keeps your battery cooler and keeps it performing at its best for longer. This feature is not necessary for aluminum frames, as the frame material dissipates heat better.

Trail mode
Trail mode uses the full 85 Nm of the EP8 drivetrain to support the rider comfortably, safely and reliably on difficult sections. The extremely versatile support mode is optimally tuned by default and requires no further adjustment. This allows you to concentrate fully on conquering the toughest trails. The harder you pedal, the more support power is available to you. This means that you are supported by the drive unit at exactly the right time and always have optimum traction and control.
