The G.FUGA WIDE is the wide version of the G.FUGA shoe and was developed for cyclists who need more space in the forefoot area. This road cycling shoe seamlessly combines timeless style with high-performance functionality. It has been crafted with the utmost care to offer an unrivalled riding experience with premium materials and cutting-edge technology.
Every shoe starts with the last. For this reason, Gaerne has developed a range of fits that are precisely tailored to the anatomy of the foot, the pedalling style and the needs of each cyclist. This shoe features the G.COMFORT FIT WIDE fit, which increases volume in the forefoot for a roomier and more comfortable fit without sacrificing Gaerne's signature stability and support. The microfibre material is strategically perforated to promote breathability and improve ventilation, keeping your feet cool and dry throughout the ride. Inside, the shoe is combined with mesh to provide long-lasting support for the foot and increase stability. The DUAL FITTING CLOSURE SYSTEM with two independent BOA Dial Z dial closures allows for individual fit adjustment in both the instep and forefoot area and ensures a precise, fast and personalised closure without pressure points. The L6 DIAL Z, known for its high-quality aerodynamic design, has an optimised rubberised surface for an effective and secure grip.
The COMFORT FIT tongue has high-tech padding for greater comfort and breathability. The INTEGRATED ANTI-SLIP HEEL CUP provides more foot stability and control for an improved riding experience. The EPS TRANSPIRANT INSOLE provides anatomical support for comfort and pedalling efficiency. The GAERNE EPS CARBON POWER SOLE 8.0 is made of carbon-reinforced nylon for increased stiffness. Its thin profile enables efficient pedalling without energy loss, while the arch shape increases foot stability. Strategically placed vents and internal channels provide excellent ventilation. Non-slip inserts at the front and replaceable PU inserts at the back ensure safe walking. The EPS Carbon Power sole is made of nylon reinforced with carbon fibres to ensure excellent stiffness. The ultra-thin thickness reduces the distance between the foot and the pedal and enables optimum power delivery. Non-slip rubber inserts at the front and rear of the sole ensure stability off the bike.
CLOSURE SYSTEM BOA L6
The patented "BOA L6®" closure system consists of twist locks with stainless steel cables that enable unrivalled fine adjustment. The combination of these elements allows the rider a perfect fixation of the foot with no pressure points. The absence of Velcro fasteners maximises air circulation in the forefoot.
COMFORT FIT TONGUE
The tension-covering tongue is perforated to improve air circulation. It is also padded with a soft lining to provide the foot with unrivalled comfort.
