MIPS
MIPS is a low-friction system inside the helmet, designed to slow down or prevent the transfer of energy towards or away from the head.
IN-Mould
In the in-mould construction process, the robust polycarbonate outer shell is bonded to the impact-absorbing EPS inner shell in a single operation whilst the latter is being foamed. This makes the helmet even more durable without adding any extra weight. This production process also allows for the creation of significantly better ventilation systems and vents. In-Mould helmets are therefore lighter than traditional helmets and feature significantly better ventilation systems.
Float Fit
Bell’s most advanced helmet fit system combines comfort and safety in an ultra-lightweight design. Float Fit™ optimises the helmet’s fit in two ways – in terms of head circumference and vertical adjustment. To reduce weight and simplify operation, the guide arms uniquely cradle the back of the head thanks to the ‘Float’ design. This positions the helmet perfectly on the head. Simple, lightweight and comfortable.
Fidlock® magnetic fastening
TheFIDLOCK® magnetic fastening closes automatically and can be opened again very easily by sliding it sideways with just two fingers. It can be operated quickly and effortlessly with just one hand, even when wearing gloves.
