G.ZEPHYR is a high-performance road shoe with an ultra-lightweight G.AEROKNIT upper and a full carbon sole designed to maximise ventilation, fit and pedalling efficiency.
Every shoe starts with the last. For this reason, Gaerne has developed a range of fits that are precisely tailored to the anatomy of the foot, the pedalling style and the needs of each cyclist. This shoe features the G.PRO FIT fit, which offers a close, body-hugging fit designed for optimal power transfer and high pedalling sensitivity. Built on a narrower, race-style last, it provides stability and control even during the most intense phases of your ride. The G.AEROKNIT upper offers a sock-like fit with exceptional ventilation and an ultra-lightweight feel, while perforations in the toe area further improve airflow. A more elastic knit construction on the tongue naturally moulds to the foot for a more precise fit and greater comfort. Variable knit densities in key areas provide flexibility. The TARSAL SUPPORT SYSTEM keeps the foot perfectly positioned in the shoe, promoting a smoother and more efficient pedalling motion. The CLOSURE SYSTEM features two micro-adjustable BOA® Li2 A dials that allow for quick, effortless and precise fit adjustment. This system combines exceptional durability with a sleek, low-profile design. BOA fabric guides ensure even tension distribution and help prevent pressure points, increasing overall comfort.
The INTEGRATED ANTI-SLIP HEEL CUP improves foot stability and power transmission. A non-slip inner coating ensures that the foot remains securely in position throughout the entire ride. The ANATOMICAL INSOLE was developed for maximum stability and comfort and offers targeted support in the heel and tarsal area. Strategically placed perforations are aligned with the sole's ventilation channels, improving air circulation and creating an ideal microclimate in the shoe. The new full carbon sole "GAERNE EPS LIGHT WEIGHT FULL CARBON SOLE" guarantees absolute lightness and stiffness. The ultra-thin design minimises the distance between the foot and the pedal - maximum power transmission without energy loss. Two air channels in the sole ensure perfect ventilation of the foot during use. Non-slip rubbers at the front and rear offer safety when walking. The rear one is replaceable. Sole compatible with all road bike pedals.

Ensures perfect positioning of the foot in the shoe and thus enables a round and more efficient pedalling stroke.
HEEL CUP
Improved anatomically moulded heel cup made of non-deformable plastic. The heel cup provides a firm hold, is non-slip and stabilises the tendons. Reflective inserts on the back ensure better visibility in low light conditions. Air inlets improve temperature equalisation.
