Shimano Deore XT CS-M8000 11-speed Cassette
As with the XTR, the entire range of 1x11-speed, 2x11-speed and 3x11-speed gear ratios is available for the new DEORE XT M8000. This means that the optimum drivetrain variant can be found for every type of rider, every level of performance or every type of terrain. Thanks to the RHYTHM STEP gradation, the DEORE XT M8000 ensures uninterrupted propulsion. For this purpose, the gear steps have been selected precisely so that the jumps are low and the cadence remains as constant as possible. Regardless of the choice of a single, double or triple system, this helps to ensure that the rider's expended energy is always efficiently converted into propulsion and the flow on the trail is maintained. With the new M8000 2- and 3x11-speed drivetrains, this provides an enormously wide gear ratio that, thanks to the combination with the 11-40T cassette, is nevertheless designed for narrow gradations between the gears, as was already the case with the XTR, and thus always allows for a controlled cadence. New to the DEORE XT, on the other hand, is an 11-46T HG-X11 cassette (CS-M8000) specially (and exclusively) developed for the 1x11-speed systems. With this gradation, it represents the widest-ratio cassette SHIMANO has ever presented.Features
