Technologies

Patented integrated suspension system
Thanks to the integrated suspension platform, the suspension properties can be improved without compromising on weight. For bikes at this level, every little optimization counts.

For optimum performance of the suspension damper, power transmission must be as direct as possible. Inefficient, lateral movements - i.e. movements to the side of the suspension direction - should be avoided.

The integrated damper improves this in many ways. The frame construction around the shock and the trunnion mount can be made particularly rigid, which reduces movement and makes power transmission more efficient. In addition, a larger bearing at the seat tube pivot point allows for a reinforced structure and less unwanted flex. The integrated suspension technology also allows the shock to be positioned lower in the frame, lowering the center of gravity and improving handling and stability.

Each of these improvements may seem small, but together they result in significantly more efficient shock performance. In addition, the damper is fully protected from external influences - even in wet or muddy conditions, the function remains unchanged.

Easy access to the damper
The damper is accessed via a flap in the bottom bracket area. This makes it easy to adjust the rebound, compression and damper pressure and to install or replace the cable for the TwinLoc suspension system.

Suspension with a simple pivot point
A well thought-out suspension layout is crucial for the performance of a full-suspension bike. The Spark's single-pivot design impresses with its specific, proven kinematics and reduced unsprung mass. The flex pivot point on the seat stay is an ideal solution for this suspension travel range and enables a lightweight system with optimum suspension performance.

Adjustable steering head angle
The steering angle of the Spark can be adjusted by 0.6 degrees - flatter or steeper, depending on your riding style. This is possible without shortening cables or bleeding the brakes. All you need to do is remove the handlebars, turn the headset 180 degrees and refit everything.

Tool for the rear wheel axle
The integrated tool on the rear wheel axle has been further optimized. It is an all-in-one wrench with T25, T30 and 6 mm hexagon socket. It can be used to adjust almost any axle hardware and most of the other components on the bike.

Syncros Fraser iC Combo
The new Spark is equipped with the completely redesigned Fraser iC combo from Syncros. The integration of the cables poses a particular challenge, which has been elegantly solved with this design. The cables run under the handlebars and around the sides of the stem before disappearing through integrated plastic parts in the headset. The result is a tidy, efficient and minimalist cockpit. In addition, all Syncros handlebar and stem combinations offer various options for computer, light and camera mounts - both above and below the handlebars.
