The name Arcadex is inspired by Arcadia (Ἀρκαδία), the legendary region of Greek and Roman myths that is inextricably linked to visions of natural harmony.
The frame is made of a lightweight and robust epoxy-SM carbon fiber composite and is equipped with a flat mount disc brake mount for 140/160 mm brake discs. The frame also has a PressFit 86.5 X Ø41 bottom bracket and a 142 mm OLD thru-axle (over locknut dimension) as well as the SRAM UDH derailleur hanger.
The fork, also made of epoxy-SM carbon fiber composite material, offers a tire clearance of up to 42 mm (ETRTO 622-42mm) and is equipped with a 1 1/8" head tube diameter. The Bianchi Custom Acros ICR headset components ensure internal cable routing and a tidy look.
The drivetrain consists of Sram Apex D1 shifters, the robust Sram Apex Eagle rear derailleur and a Sram Apex 1 WIDE crankset with 40 teeth. The drivetrain system is completed by a Sram SX Eagle chain and a Sram SX Eagle, PG-1210 cassette with a range of 11-50T. The Sram DUB PressFit Road Wide 86.5 X Ø41 bottom bracket ensures smooth power transmission.
For the brakes, Bianchi relies on hydraulic Sram APEX Pad Type brakes with Sram CenterLine brake rotors, which offer excellent braking performance and heat dissipation. The brake disks have a diameter of 160 mm at the front and rear.
The wheelset consists of Fulcrum RapidRed 900 2-Way Fit Ready wheels, which are suitable for both clincher and tubeless tires. These 700C wheels are made of aluminum and have an internal width of 22 mm. The Pirelli Cinturato™ GRAVEL M Classic tires (45-622) with tan sidewall offer optimum grip and comfort on a wide variety of surfaces.
The cockpit consists of a Velomann AICR Alloy stem in various lengths depending on the frame size and a Velomann Gravel ICR Alloy handlebar with 16° flare. The grips are made of 2.5 mm thick Bianchi Hexagon Tape.
The seat area is equipped with a Velomann Carbon UD seat post and a Velomann MITORA 149 saddle, which impresses with its soft padding and stable construction.
