The zipperless design and anatomical cut offer a high level of comfort and waterproofness. Thanks to the stretch of the fabric, you can pull the overshoe up your leg before putting on your cycling shoes. The cuff should sit just below the calf muscle so that the leg and sock are optimally protected. Then put on your cycling shoes, pull the overshoes over them and secure them with the Velcro fastener under the sole.
The Gravel version of the AquaShield 2 overshoes combines PU-coated polyester with neoprene and Kevlar. The toe area is protected with a rubber insert to prevent damage when stopping and running, while the Kevlar under the forefoot provides additional robustness. These two elements help to protect the PU layer of the overshoe from damage caused by tires, pedals and vegetation. The opening on the underside is specially designed for gravel shoes with small cleats such as the SPD system and shoe soles with studs.
