Der Marathon ... Seit Jahrzehnten DER Reifen fuer hohe Laufleistungen ohne Pannen. Was allerdings ueber die Jahre immer schlimmer und mit dem 'Green Marathon' wirklich extrem geworden ist, und der Grund fuer nur drei statt fuenf Punkte, ist, dass er brutal auf der Felge huepft. Ich montiere die Schlaeuche immer mit ordentlich Talkum, damit da nix zusammenklebt. Beim Green Marathon kommt auch gleich immer Reifenmontierpaste mit rein. Dann aufpassen dass er nicht irgendwo runter springt, weil er ja anderswo tief in der Felge drin sitzt und nicht raus will. Nochmal Luft rauslassen und dran rumzupfen. Dann alles von vorn. Wenn man sicher ist, dass er nirgends mehr runterspringt, dann sechs bar reinhauen und einen Tag abwarten, dann ist er endlich leidlich gleichmaessig und nirgends wo mehr 'tief drin' in der Felge so dass die Riffelung verschwindet. Fuer Freunde und Nachbarn kann ich das als Hobbyist so machen, im professionellen Umfeld ist das ein Totalschaden. Ob das bei einer De- und wieder Montage nach einer gewissen Zeit dann besser wird, weiss ich nicht, weil ich selber auf Tubeless umgestiegen bin und dort andere Reifen verwende (Marathon Almotion TLE). Man kann sich allerdings damit troesten, dass das nur sehr selten notwendig sein wird wegen der hohen Pannensicherheit.
