The Puncture Protection Strip is a special fabric placed between a tire's tread and casing to increase resistance to punctures.
TLR
TLR tires versions can be ridden tubeless adding sealant but are also able to run with an inner tube. Vulcanized version ensures durability. Maximum comfort is given by the handmade construction; in this version, a bead-to-bead inner coating gives added puncture protection to these new tubeless ready tires and greatly reduces any air pressure dissipation. Enhanced longevity has been gained with the addition of an aramid bead protection strip, to reduce rim chafing.

Bisher bin ich mit dem Reifen zufrieden, er rollt gut, dämpft gut und lässt sich auch Montieren, was ja teilweise unmöglich sien soll. Er ist im neuzustand nicht RUnd sondern komplett platt.das macht es nicht einfach dafür geht Tubeless recht gut. Was mich aber stört, ist das er nach über 2 Monaten noch nicht richtig Dicht ist. Er wird täglich benutzt und ich muss alle 2- 3 Tage nachpumpen. Das hatte ich bisher bei noch keinem anderen Tubeless Reifen.
Challenge Strada Bianca HTLR - Modell 00542, 700x36C. Super schneller Reifen, viel Komfort - rollt und dämpft angenehm und ist echt schnell mit bestem Verhalten auf der Straße - auch auf schlechteren Wegen gut zu fahren. Für mein Anwendungsprofil (70% Straße/Asphalt , 30% feiner Schotter/Split) bestens geeignet. Als „Sommerreifen“ für ähnlich schnelles Fahren mit dem Gravelrad wie mit RR sehr zu empfehlen. …. Die Mühe und der 2 bis 3-fach höhere Zeit- und Handling-Aufwand beim Aufziehen des Reifens lohnen sich allemal. Für Montage das Video mit Tipps von Challenge beachten und sinnvollerweise 3 Reifenhelfen / -heber (z.B. die von Schwalbe) zum „Teilfixieren“ sowie die Montage-Zange (z.B. hier im Shop von Radon) inkl. Seifenschaum nutzen. Dann klappt’s relative problemlos. :-)
Superb tyre to ride, but terrible to seat. Requires a certain technique to master. Also, my tire was delaminated when I opened the package... It's nothing terrible, but I would like to expect more attention to quality and detail for a tire at this price point. Otherwise this would have been a full five star review.
Montage ist kein Problem wenn 1:1 nach Anleitung von Challenge durchführt! Ansonsten bricht entweder der Reifenheber oder die Carbon Felgenflanke...
Großartiger Reifen! War etwas skeptisch, weil das Profil sieht eher nach "Straße" aus. Aber schlechte Straßen und Wege, leichter Schotter macht ihm überhaupt nichts. Und bis dahin läuft er Sahne! Nur bei nassem Gras und Lehm kommt er an seine Grenzen,
handicraft is felt. the quality to the touch is great. but it is extremely difficult to put on the rim, I recommend buying talcum powder and a special tool from this company or stock up on levers. I do not recommend wearing it on a carbon rim without experience, the rim will suffer 95%.
