Stufensättel empfinde ich im Allgemeinen generell angenehmer, als gebogene Sättel. Die Sättel von Ergon sind m.E. eine super Alternative zu den oft deutlich teureren SQLab-Pendants. Dieser Sattel ist schön leicht und hat 'ne super Passform. Ich habe diesen Sattel schlussendlich gekauft, um auch an meinem Fully einen Stufensattel zu besitzen, da ich bereits auf meinen anderen Bikes ebenfalls Stufensattel verwende. Das Problem dabei ist nämlich, dass sich der Hintern irgendwann so dermaßen an die Stufensättel gewöhnt hat, dass man sich dann schwer tut wieder etwas anderes zu fahren. Generell gilt: Wer vorher einen gebogenen Sattel fuhr, muss sich vermutlich erst etwas umgewöhnen, da beim Stufensattel viel mehr die Sitzknochen belastet werden. Das ist ungefähr so, wie wenn man von einem Pferdesattel auf eine Bierzeltgarniturbank wechselt. Der SMC Men Sport Gel Sattel stellt auf jeden Fall ein sehr gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhätlnis dar, ist sehr angenehm und nicht zu schwer. Daher meine klare Empfehlung für alle, die einen vernünftigen Stufensattel suchen. Ich selbst habe einen Sitzknochenabstand von 12cm und stand damit genau auf der Schwelle zwischen S/M, oder M/L. Ich habe mich für die Variante M/L entschieden und muss sagen, dass er genau richtig ist und nichts scheuert.

Habe den für mich perfekten Sattel für einen Top-Preis gefunden, nachdem ich mit 2 Jahre mit dem Ergon SM 10 herum geplagt habe. Mit dem neuen habe ich auf meine 2,5 Hausrunde (fast nur Wurzeltrails bzw. -wege) meine sonst üblichen Druckstellen bei 85 kg gar nicht gespürt. Was will man mehr? Lieferung, 1.Rückversand, Rücküberweisung alles bestens wie immer.
Die Sitzknochen liegen sehr gut auf. Ein signifikanter Unterschied zu meinem Venec Sattel. Noch keine längere Fahrt gemacht, aber bin jetzt schon verblüfft wie Bequem Mann sitzen kann.
Ich war mit dem Selle Royale an meinem R&M Charger 4 nicht zufrieden und war auf der suche nach einem Sattel der mehr entlastet, nicht extrem weich ist aber dennoch nicht schmerzt. Ich bin extrem zufrieden mit meiner Wahl und kann den Sattel nur weiterempfehlen! Sieht sehr schick aus und die Abus Schlosstasche passt auch.
it's good seat, it's okay but for 71,17 euro and big brand name like ergon I was expecting it to be not just okay but very amazing, and it's just not, it's not that soft, in fact pretty hard and it's not made in germany it's made in taiwan and build quality shows, on the bottom it is glued on all janky. it is an upgrade over my standard seat that came with the bike but only by a small margin

Ein sehr angenehmer Sattel und die Dämpfung ist genau richtig. Der Terry Arteria Gel ist hingegen unbequemer, weil härter gepolstert. Ansonsten fühlen sich die beiden Sättel was den Druck auf die Weichteile betrifft ähnlich an.
