Seit geraumer Zeit habe ich auf solch ein Produkt gewartet. Jetzt ist es da. Bestellprozedere bei BD wie gewohnt hervorragend. Der Versand: naja, da hätte DHL ein Schüppchen drauflegen können. Ok, der Karton ist von den Ausmaßen ein Sperrgut und ein Wochenende lag dazwischen.. Der Träger: auspacken, auf die Anhängerkupplung stecken, kurze Nachjustierung. Einsatzbereit! Wow Der Träger selbst ist ein Knaller. Die schwenkbaren Arme sind super flexibel und in jede erdenkliche Richtung/etliche Positionen am Fahrrad anbringbar. Ich besitze ein Mondraker Crafty XR-Carbon-EMTB. Bisher war das Transportieren mit dem bisherigen Träger (Euroway-G2) ein Kompromiss. Jetzt mit dem Epos habe ich ein auf das Rad 100% abgestimmtes Produkt. Der Träger ist wirklich hochwertig, die Funktion astrein, das Rad richtig zügig aufgeladen und sicher befestigt. Mit einer Radstandfreigabe von 1,35m passt so ziemlich jedes Rad STVO-Konform da drauf! Die Rücklichter sind mit Glühbirnen ausgestattet, warum auch immer. Dies stört mich aber nicht. Die Optik ist wie LED. Preislich ist der Epos natürlich ganz oben angesiedelt, die Anschaffung musste bei dem Preis gut überlegt werden. Unterm Strich lohnt es sich aber, hier einmal tiefer in die Tasche zu greifen. Auch das Zubehör ist sinnvoll, ich habe das Abus-Schloss "Thule-High-Grade-Lock- 978500" hinzu gekauft. Auch hier: Montage und Funktion 5 Sterne. Ob der Bike-Repaiholder oder der Storage Back sich noch hinzugesellen, entscheide ich später. Das ganze wird an einem VW-Tiguan Bj 22 betrieben und funktioniert in dieser Kombination wie gewünscht. Ich vermisse noch den optionalen Koffer für den Träger. Ob da was kommt?
