The EnCase System Bar Kit One from Wolf Tooth Components is a thoughtful tool set that includes a 14-function multitool, chain & tire plug multi-tool integrated into two storage sleeves that can be used to make almost all adjustments & repairs on the trail / road.

EnCase Hex Bit Wrench Multi-Tool

- Spoke wrench for 3,23 mm (0,127") nipples
- Valve core wrench
- Flat head: #3.5

Vorab: 1 Stern Abzug wegen des Preises und der dafür auch etwas dürftigen Garantie von nur einem Jahr (2 Jahre gesetzl. Gewährleistung). Das Toolkit an sich ist wertig und sauber gefertigt. Die Bits halten super im Carrier durch die Magnete, das Herausholen erfordert ein wenig Übung. Mein Modell hat komplett schwarze Bits, ich fände es besser wenn sie silber wären wegen des Kontrasts. Auf den Bits ist die Größe eingraviert, es wäre besser wenn die Beschriftung zusätzlich weiß wäre. Erste Test-Schraubungen verliefen absolut zufriedenstellend. Man hat subjektiv ein gutes Gefühl fürs Drehmoment. Bei der Montage in einem OneUp Carbon Lenker hatte ich etwas zu tun: die Lamellen sind zu dick sodass ich das Tool nur mit einem Schonhammer reinbekommen und mit einer Zange wieder rausbekommen hab. Lösung: mit einer Nagelschere schrittweise die Lamellen kürzen und danach mit etwas (Carbon-kompatiblem) Fett (z.B. Muc-off Grease) gleitfähig machen. Jetzt hält das Tool sicher im Lenker und lässt sich auch normal mit den Fingerspitzen rausholen.
