Cooles Gadget, einfache Installation, gut versteckt. Es kommt mit einem Aufkleber mit, damit man darauf hinweist, dass das Fahrrad getrackt wird. Ob man das benutzt oder nicht, ist einem selbst überlassen. Ich bin sehr zufrieden.
Geniale Erfindung, die Gott sei dank nicht so bekannt ist. Ich nutze es nunmehr seit ein paar tausend Kilometern an meinem Gravelbike. Bei meinen anderen Fahrrädern habe ich keine Angst vor Diebstahl - entweder ich sitze drauf oder sie sind in Sichtweite beim Kaffeestopp, bzw in der abgeschlossenen Garage und damit über die Hausrat versichert. Aber das Gravelbike ist gleichzeitig mein Alltags- und Familienrad und steht damit zwangsläufig auch schon mal länger irgendwo, wo ich mein Rad sonst nicht stehen lassen würde. Der Einbau des AirTags in den eigentlichen Halter ist beim ersten Mal etwas fummelig, selbst schuld wer die Anleitung missachtet (typisch Kerl halt). Einmal verbaut läuft es problemlos. Hab einen 45er Schwalbe G One Bite auf einer 23er DT Swiss Felge. Nach einer Saison beim Tausch vorderer gegen hinterer Mantel (Laufleistung) dann zwangsläufig auch mal das AirTag raus geholt und die Batterie proforma getauscht. Kein Problem, klar war etwas von der Dichtmilch am AirTag, das hat dem Ding aber anscheinend nicht geschadet. Würde es immer wieder kaufen - man hört ja oft dass Fahrraddiebe mittlerweile die gängigen Verstecke (Klingel, Sattel, Trinkflaschenhalter,…) kennen und sich blitzschnell des AirTags entledigen. Wer das AirTag sucht muss schon sehr tief in der Materie Fahrrad drin sein und sich nicht nur fürs klauen interessieren. Es bleibt dann immer noch das Problem, dass es im Mantel ist. Um das loszuwerden ist Sauerei mit der Dichtmilch angesagt und ein neuer Schlauch muss parat sein oder man entledigt sich direkt des Hinterrades samt Kassette - was auch ziemlich dämlich ist. Die Chance das geliebte Rad wieder zu finden steigt so doch erheblich.
