Lässt sich gut wickeln, die Länge war ausreichend bei einem 44er Dropbar, wobei ich auch kürzer als traditionell wickele. Zur Abwertung führt die geringe Haltbarkeit - die Deckschicht ist schon nach 2tkm an einer Griffposition (nicht wegen Wand anlehnen u.ä.) durchgescheuert. Bisher noch nie so bei anderen Bändern gesehen. Kauf ich nicht nochmal.
Ich habe das Allroad Lenkerband mit den OrthoCell Pads über 4000 Km im Einsatz ganzjährig. Am Anfang gab es Wickelprobleme, man muss das Band stramm ziehen beim wickeln. Auch ist es sehr kurz. Großzügig überlappen und italienische Acht ist nicht. Ansonsten bin ich aber mit der Performance zufrieden. Man merkt nicht viel von der Dämpfung, aber der Lenker ist auf längeren Touren bequemer als mein Gravelbike das mit Wolftooth Light and supple Band gewickelt ist. Dafür gibts einen Stern mehr. Bei Regen saugt sich das Band voll und trocknet auch wieder. Leider kleben die OrthoCell Pads ziemlich stark, ich bin mal gespannt ob ich einfach im Frühjahr die Zughüllen wechseln kann. Ansonsten zieht das Band an den Rändern Fäden und franst etwas aus. Ich muss ganz ehrlich sagen wer wirklich im Gelände unterwegs ist, und bei jedem Wetter pendelt wird Abstriche bei allen Komponenten machen müssen. Insofern bin ich mit dem Band zufrieden. Bzw wird es kaum was Besseres geben.
Mit dem Ergon Band hab ich dass allererste Mal einen Lenker selbst neu gewickelt. Installation ging für mich leicht von der Hand, wenn man mit einem kräftigen und konstanten Zug arbeitet. Sobald man etwas zu sanft agiert ist das Wickeln nicht mehr so gut im Ergebnis. Kleinere Korrekturen sind möglich, doch mit etwas Vorsicht zu genießen, da ich in meinem Fall etwas von der Oberfläche des Bands löste. Das Band fühlt sich sehr griffig, durch die texturierte und leicht klebende Oberfläche. Je nach Wicklung wirkte es relativ dick und liefert eine gute Dämpfung. Fazit: Gutes Band mit seinen Besonderheiten beim wickeln. Vielleicht nicht gerade ideal fürs „erste Mal“ wenn man noch nie ein Lenkerband selbst gewickelt hat. Trotzdem eine Kaufempfehlung.
Das Band ist recht kurz, an meinem Gravellenker hatte ich große Probleme mit der Länge (fürs Rennrad vllt okay). Auch kann ich mich Frank anschließen, dass es recht schwer ist, das Band gleichmäßig zu wickeln. Dämpfung und Qualität wirken sonst gut, aufgrund der Wickelprobleme bei dem Preis allerdings nur 3 Sterne.
