TERRAFLUX 4 LENS
The TERRAFLUX lens was a milestone in Supernova's development and is now in its 4th generation. Hardly any other lens in this size produces such a bright and uniform illumination. Thanks to sophisticated light control, the TERRAFLUX lens puts 90% of the light where it is needed most: on the road. It forms a broad and uniform carpet of light that extends from the front wheel far into the horizon. The permanent daytime running light built into the lens ensures excellent visibility of other participants in traffic during the day. This light component is used for excellent ambient illumination at night and makes traffic signs or low-hanging branches visible.
ALUMINUM HOUSING
We use aerospace aluminum for our housings because it is not only super strong but also has the best heat conduction properties. The better the cooling, the brighter the LED. In addition, the housings are anodized, salt water-resistant, and defy the most adverse conditions. Extreme tests in all seasons and climates by ultracycling athletes on the road with SUPERNOVA lighting prove their outstanding reliability and durability.
LED COOLING
We believe in high performance with the best possible efficiency. Cooling extends the service life significantly. The most important prerequisites for an ideal heat dissipation include a careful choice of material and sophisticated construction. For example, completely uninterrupted heat dissipation can only be obtained by a housing that is made seamlessly from a single piece of aluminum. In extreme situations, integrated heat sensors keep the headlight in an optimum temperature range. With extensive computer simulations, our engineers continue to find the most appropriate way to derive the heat from the LEDs. Our more than 20 years of experience with LED front lights comes into its own here.

Sehr hochwertig verarbeitet und macht einen robusten Eindruck, was ich bei dem Preis auch erwarte. Auf voller Leistung (Stufe4) ist sie eigentlich unnötig hell. Auf niedrigster Stufe hält der Akku extrem lange und es ist trotzdem noch ausreichend hell, daher auch gut für Brevets. Sonst fahre ich meistens auf Stufe 2 und 3. Das Licht wird stark gebündelt, da geht nichts verloren und blendet bei korrekter Postion auch nicht den Gegenverkehr. Leider scheint das Licht aber auch wenig in die Breite, weswegen die Kurven nicht optimal ausgeleuchtet werden. Das ist mein einziger Kritikpunkt und Grund für 4 statt 5 Sterne. Habe die Lampe direkt unter meinem Garmin montiert. Leider muss man dafür nochmal zusätzlich einen GoPro Adapter für fast 20€ kaufen, kann die Lampe aber auch schnell demontieren und hat immer wieder sofort die richtige Position.
Hochwertig verarbeiteter Scheinwerfer, der mit der zusätzlich zu erwerbenden Halterung dann auch wunderbar an den Lenker passt. Schneller Versand durch H&S. Dass bei einem Preis von fast 200€ allerdings das auf dem Produktbild zu sehende Netzteil nicht mit geliefert wird, steht zwar dran, ist aber unnötig ärgerlich.
Beim Auspacken war ich überrascht, wie klein die Airstream Lampe ist für so viel Lichtleistung!! Man merkt auch direkt die top Verarbeitungs und Materialqualität - Wirklich ein Lob an Supernova!! Die halterung unter dem Lenker ist perfekt für mein Rennrad und auch fürs Gravel - da fällt sie am wenigsten auf...
