After a ride, the wired bike computer gives you an overview of the meters you climbed on that day’s ride and the maximum altitude you reached. It also saves the total altitude you have climbed on all your rides.
Stable data transfer
The speedometer’s direct cable connection with the transmitter ensures smooth speed measurement. The BC 14.0 WR needs no battery for wired transmission, and you can use your bike computer for years without changing its battery.
One speedometer for two bikes
If you regularly ride different bikes, it’s easy to use the BC 14.0 WR on your second bike. After setting it up once, you can select the bike you are currently using on your bike computer. To install it on a second bike, you will need another bracket and a second transmitter, which you can find in SIGMA’s online shop.

That provides room for large numbers that are very easy to read during a ride. The current speed is displayed continuously, and you can select whatever second value you want. When it gets dark, you can switch on the backlight.

You can set and operate the bike computer intuitively with three buttons. You can use the two lower buttons to conveniently toggle among the individual functions. The menu button takes you to the settings and the monthly statistics. Your ORIGINAL is practical: Its integrated start/stop function begins measurement as soon as you start your tour and stops when you take a break or finish your tour.
Cabled installation
You can attach the BC 14.0 WR’s bracket to the handlebars or stem with two cable ties. The speed transmitter can be mounted the same way. The computer receives all the necessary data through the cable. You can remove the bike computer at any time and stow it conveniently – and just as quickly get it ready for your next hill adventure!
For orderliness and a perfect view: the over clamp butler
You can also fix your BC 14.0 WR in place with the SIGMA Overclamp Butler, which is available from the online shop as an accessory. It gives you more space and organizes your handlebars to give you an ideal view of the device. You can use a screw to secure it against theft. The Butler fits handlebars of 31.8 and 35 mm diameters.

Cette version "avec fil" (wired) fonctionne très bien sur mon e-bike et est plus économe en pile!. La version du compteur "sans fil" (Wire less) s'arrêtait de fonctionner quand j'utilisais le moteur ! Perturbations électro-magnétiques ??? Je dispose ainsi de la température, du % de pente et de l'altitude, informations inexistantes chez Bosch! Et j'ai des statistiques mensuelles, qui sont payantes via Bosch!!!
funziona bene a parte il termometro che non è preciso, segna almeno 3-4 gradi in più della temperatura reale,, l'altimetro invece è abbastanza preciso.. il montaggio con fascette zip-tie del sensore e della staffa è poco pratico, ogni volta che cè da fare qualche regolazione bisogna tagliarle e rimetterle nuove. Nel complesso però un buon rapporto qualità prezzo.
Toller Funktionsumfang und sehr robust. Insbesondere die Halterung am Lenker und die haptische Rückmeldung beim Verrasten und Entfernen des Bike Computer vermitteln einen soliden Eindruck. Durch die Möglichkeit eine Sprache auszuwählen und die Beschreibung der gewählten Anzeige in Klartext werden Missverständnisse vermieden. Die Anzeige ist sehr gut ablesbar. Schade, dass keine Option angeboten wird, 3 Funktionenszeilen anzuzeigen, z.B. mit permanenter Anzeige von Geschwindigkeit und aktueller Höhe.
Bin umgestiegen vom BC 14.16 (Funk) auf dieses Basisteil. Funktioniert einwandfrei und das größere Display ist ein Vorteil. Das Gerät zeigt zuverlässig alles an, was man unterwegs wissen will, wenn man auf Trittfrequenz und Watt verzichten kann. Die Steigungsanzeige aktualisiert sich in kurzen Abständen, ist also sehr dicht am aktuellen Geländeprofil. Nur die Höhenprofilanzeige des alten BC 14.16, in der gleichzeitig Höhe und Steigung angezeigt werden, vermisse ich ein wenig. Aber bei dem Preis kann man nicht alles verlangen.
Wieder etwas optimiert! Größeres Display, größere Batterie, größere drehhalterung, Dritter Knopf. Besonders praktisch is das Licht durch drücken der 2 Tasten einzuschalten. Ansonsten ist die Oberfläche eigentlich identisch zum Vorgänger 14.14 Begeister wie immer, bin gespannt wie lange die größere Batterie hält.. Beim Vorgänger hat die kleine etwa 2,5 Jahre (ohne Licht Nutzung) gehalten.
prima teil - nur: die bedienungsanleitung und installationshinweise dürften ruhig bisschen ausführlicher sein!
Ein wirklich guter Tacho mit fast schon zu vielen Funktionen, aber wenn man nach der Fahrt mal schauen möchte, wie viele Höhenmeter es waren usw. ist das schon interessant - auch der Monatsvergleich macht Sinn. Kann ich empfehlen das Gerät!
