How Ergon minimizes seating problems
When cycling, most of your body weight rests on the small saddle area. If the weight is not transferred evenly to the sit bones, pressure is created in the extremely sensitive perineal and genital area - resulting in unpleasant discomfort. A relief channel helps, but is not the only important factor.
For healthy pressure distribution, the interplay between the distance between the sit bones and the torso angle must be right. An ergonomic bicycle saddle should have sufficient contact surface, but still offer the thighs freedom of movement. Cycling is also not static. Uphill, the rider intuitively slides towards the nose of the saddle to shift the body's center of gravity forward. The reverse is true downhill.

Hervorragender Sattel für einen guten Preis. Deutlich angenehmer als der Std-Sattel beim Cube Nuroad. 100% zu empfehlen!
update nach 3000km: - keinerlei Gebrauchsspuren am Sattel zu erkennen - gleiche Festigkeit wie nach dem Kauf - bester Sattel für mich persönlich nach erster Runde 60km und knapp 2h, keine Beschwerden im Becken/Genitalbereich gehabt. Absolut 5 Sterne und mehr, hoffentlich bleibt die Qualität lange stabil erhalten. Jedoch ist der Sattel in Verbindung mit der Sattelstütze CF15 von Canyon (ist ja auch eine von ERGON) und mit SQLab 216 Schuhsohlen getestet worden. Beste Kombination für mich persönlich, absolut keine Beschwerden auf der ersten Ausfahrt und Nichts eingeschlafen, außer die Zehen im linken Fuß so nach ca. 50km
Sehr bequemer, gut verarbeiteter Rennradsattel zu einem angemessenen Preis!
für einen „Rennsattel“ extrem komfortabel, trotz sportlicher Ausrichtung, an der ersten Sekunde. Der geht auch ohne gepolsterte Radhose, zumindest auf kürzeren Strecken, bisher. Nutze den Sattel auf einem Fitness-Speed Bike auch für die Stadt. Boardsteine, Waldwege, Schotter…alles kein Thema und Ruhe im Männerbereich. Mal sehen wie er sich auf Dauer schlägt, aber bisher muß ich gestehen, sowas angenehmes hatte ich als Rennsattel noch nie unter dem Hintern. Top!
