Die beiden Schrauben, mit denen man den Adapter den Rahmen schraubt, lagen nicht bei. Glücklicherweise konnte ich die Schrauben von der vorherigen Bremse nehmen. Es fehlt eine Anleitung, worauf bei dem Rahmenadapter geachtet werden muss und in welcher Richtung die Adapter montiert werden müssen. Diese Info findet sich auch nicht im Internet auf der SRAM Webseite.
Top-Bremse und vollwertiger Ersatz für eine Hydraulikbremse. Und das alles ohne lästiges Entlüften etc. Es werden auch alle nötigen Adapter mitgeliefert, da muss nichts dazu bestellt werden (IS2000 und Postmount mit unterschiedlichen Abständen).
Eine durchaus überlegenswerte Alternative zu hydraulischen Scheibenbremsen. Keine Kolbenklemmer, kein Schleifen, kein Entlüften notwendig. Bremsleistung ist erstaunlich gut. Etwas höhere Handkräfte als bei hydraulischen Stoppern erforderlich. Bei Temperaturen unter 4° C kurzes Quitschen beim Anbremsen. Lässt sich ev. mit Bremsbelägen anderer Hersteller beseitigen. Gleiches Verhalten ist auch bei hydr. Avid-Bremsen mit Originalbelägen festzustellen. Mein Fazit: absolut empfehlenswert.
