I had excessive jockey wheel noise from my Sora 3800 rear derailleur. When I switched to these jockey wheels, my rear derailleur got a lot quieter. The main difference compared to the Sora pulleys is that the tension pulley is directional and has teeth beveled on the leading edge. Otherwise they are the same.
