The RENDER Family
The RENDER is now a modern classic that flaunts horsepower and continuous performance. Our trail all-rounder is powered by Bosch’s most powerful motor, the Performance Line CX, with its 85 Nm of torque and a maximum assist of 340%. And it does that for a long time, because the RENDER down tube has the large Powertube battery with up to 750 Wh of capacity. This is beautifully integrated into the down tube, which houses all of the cables for the gear system or the vario support in one rail system. The front frame is made of carbon and is unique in its shape with the wing-like connection from the top to the down tube, which also houses the shock. 160 mm of travel on the front and 140 mm on the rear together with the 29” wheels provide tremendous running smoothness and security. Short chain stays and a sophisticated geometry keep the RENDER very agile and maneuverable. The central seat position gives plenty of control of the bike and invites you to take epic trips. The RENDER Frame
Our RENDER is a modern classic. Since the season 2022, it is also coming as a revision for the new Bosch Smart System. What remains is the ultra-modern, lightweight and very rigid carbon frame with the concise wing between the top tube and down tube, which also elegantly accommodates the shock. Also retained is the 140 mm of travel at the chainstay, which we combine at the front with 160 mm suspension forks. The high-capacity 750 Wh battery can be housed in the down tube, which powers the brutally strong Bosch Performance CX motor with its 85 Nm. Also new is the charging socket for the battery, which is located on the left side of the seat tube and is protected from dirt by a small, rotating disk when not in use. The speed sensor sits in the latest RENDER variant in the dropout. The signal-giving magnet rotates in the rear brake disk. Optionally, the new RENDER frame can accommodate a display in the top tube, where you then have all the data directly in view, which is extremely convenient.

At the start into the networked e-bike world, Bosch is equipping the top drive unit Performance line CX for the future. The well-known motor with a new connectivity is accompanied by Bosch's brand-new PowerTube 750 battery - for longer riding pleasure with a significantly increased range. The new smart system includes the new Mini Remote, as well as the system controller in the top tube of the frame and the new 4A Charger also the new eBike Flow app, from now on the center for customizing your e-bike! Thanks to the network, you can easily retrofit new functions or install updates "over-the-air". Of course, you can also track your activities and customize the riding modes. The retrofittable "ConnectModule" is intended to increase security, enabling new options for e-bike theft protection. For example, an acoustic alarm can be triggered in the event of an attempted theft, and the bike can also be tracked if it has been stolen. Further features are planned to promise more riding fun and safety with the smart system by Bosch.

Bosch Performance Line CX drive unit
Power on the hill
The maximum torque of 85 Nm has a noticeable effect on your riding behaviour when eMountain biking. The powerful motor enables rapid acceleration after tight turns and obstacles at a low cadence and facilitates starting up on the steepest of hills. For fast sprints, the motor also supports you at high cadence.
Intuitive handling
A mode for more focus: Specially designed for sporty use, eMTB mode offers you optimum control and intuitive handling, as you need to switch less between the different riding modes. With this clever function of the eMTB mode, technical sections can be mastered with confidence and obstacles such as root systems and rock gardens can be overcome by applying targeted pedal pressure with the Extended Boost. The Performance Line CX drive unit thus ensures even more riding enjoyment and a flow experience that sets the standard.

Sporty riding on a trekking bike or eMTB: The Tour+ mode of the Bosch Performance Line CX always focuses on riding enjoyment. It eliminates the need to switch between support modes, so you can focus entirely on the eBiking. Tour+ mode requires you to pedal harder on flat tracks than Tour mode - thus saving power and extending your boundaries for even more riding enjoyment!
Whether off-road or on asphalt, Tour+ mode is always the perfect choice. That's because it constantly adapts to you. Sensors on the motor measure important riding data more than 1,000 times per second, enabling Tour+ mode to determine optimum support for you. It delivers the additional power so sensitively that you not only experience a natural riding sensation, but also enjoy a longer range by applying more power.
A personal riding experience
To ensure that the eBike’s handling characteristics suit your riding style or the selected route, the available riding modes can be customised using the eBike Flow app. The level of the support, dynamics, maximum speed and maximum torque of the drive can thus be flexibly adjusted to your personal needs and preferences. Intensive training or extended eBike ride — the riding modes always offer you the right support and enable even more riding enjoyment.

Enhancing the eBike
Use the eBike Flow app to download new features and updates for components such as the battery or motor and send them to your eBike via Bluetooth. That way it's always up to date and you get to enjoy more options.
Recording activities
Track your ride and fitness data as soon as you get started. If desired, the Activity Tracking for iPhone users can also sync all data automatically with Apple Health. When you take a break, the recording stops automatically.
Customising riding modes
Adjust the riding mode exactly to your needs: You can finely adjust the Eco, Tour, Sport and Turbo riding modes so that they offer you more support or consume less power.
Everything at a glance

System Controller
Minimalist, robust Control Unit
The System Controller is the Control Unit for eBikes with the smart system, reduced to the essentials. The deliberately limited number of functions and information facilitates a quick overview and is not distracting while riding. The System Controller is seamlessly integrated into the top tube – this gives the already robust companion additional protection, is hardly noticeable and is perfect for sporty tours and design-oriented eBike fans.
LED indicators
LEDs use different colors to indicate the riding mode as well as the battery charge level in 10 % steps.
Connected in the smart system
The System Controller makes your eBike smart – and is the interface for software updates.
Built into the top tube
The System Controller is hardly noticeable, made of sturdy material and protected from knocks and scratches.
Two buttons
