Run lower tyre pressures for added confidence and fun and make your all-mountain bike more comfortable, playful and safer than ever. The special external rim profile is completely rounded making it extremely lightweight and robust, whilst the flared flanges make it particularly hard-wearing and keep the tyre rounder for more cornering grip.
Like all NEWMEN EVOLUTION SL components, this rim is constructed from high-strength aluminium alloy for outstanding mechanical properties combined with a low weight. The flared flanges make it particularly hard-wearing against dents and deformation whilst keeping the tyre rounder for more cornering grip.
Materials are deployed precisely at critical points and shaved off elsewhere. The flat spoke bed is designed to work with Newmen special washers for extremely high spoke tension values whilst keeping the amount of material used down to a minimum. In contrast, the flanges are substantially thicker than on other rims in the same weight class for added strength and durability.
The perfect rim for a wide, lightweight and fast all-mountain wheelset that fits tyres from 2.35" up to 2.6".Product features - EVOLUTION SL A.30
