Vor zwei Wochen habe ich mein Wahoo Roam v2 gegen dieses Gerät eingetauscht. Bis jetzt nicht bereut, Display ist um einiges besser, Aufzeichnung der Dateien ist auch umfangreicher… Ist natürlich eine Umstellung. Das Gerät wirkt recht überladen mit Funktionen, hier muss man sich Zeit nehmen, dann findet man sich zurecht.
Great device, i have also 1040, screen is much better on 1050 but not in all conditions, sometimes with bright sun 1040 will be more readable or situation with cloudy sky, rest of the cases 1050 wins hands down. Battery is surprisingly great, it seams 1050 handles better screen brightness than 1040. UI is much nicer on 1050, and how information is displayed, also Garmin a lot of small graphics to display cycling metric. Its great to have an option to change screen stats during the ride and replace them. 1050 is quite heavy and bit bigger than 1040, if you are weight weenie you are better anyway with device like Edge 840. Ring bell is just a gimick, speaker is facing toward bicycle rather outside and its not loud enough is you are cycling faster that 15-20km/h, even at low speed and quiet environment people dont react much on this bell. If you have 1040 there is no need to upgrade especially at this price.
Der Unterschied von meinem 1040 auf den neuen Edge 1050 ist schon genial. Alleine wegen dem Display hat sich der Wechsel gelohnt.
