High performance all terrain winter shoe with Gore-Tex®: the G.ICE-STORM All Terrain 1.0 GORE-TEX® by Gaerne
The upper material with G.active airflow microfibre and the GORE-TEX® Duratherm® membrane offers maximum breathability, wind and rain protection and thermal insulation even in extreme cold. An elastic and water-repellent collar with adjustable closure provides maximum insulation, the rear loop for easy adjustment and reflective inserts for increased visibility in low light conditions. Abrasion-resistant reinforcements are located in the toe and side areas.
The highly insulating midsole features an addition of thermo-reflective aluminum to form a thermal barrier that keeps your foot warm and dry. The non-slip BOA Fit System with IP-1 dial platform allows for a quick, effortless and precise fit. The closure runs across the entire front of the shoe. A supportive insole ensures comfort and efficiency while pedaling.

CLOSURE SYSTEM BOA IP-1
The new BOA IP-1 twist closure has a triple function: To close the right shoe, the closure is turned clockwise and to loosen in the opposite direction. For the left shoe it works the other way round, so that you only have to turn in the direction of travel to close the shoe and in the opposite direction to loosen it. To open the lock completely, the lock is pulled upwards. The new BOA IP-1 closure has a hexagonal shape and guarantees with the rubberized surface an effective access to the BOA system.

Ich benötigte Winterschuhe, für mein e-Bike Fully, täglicher Weg zur Arbeit, 16 km, eine Richtung. Da ich keine Klick-Pedale nutze, mussten die Schuhe zumindest grundsätzlich ohne nutzbar sein. Durch einen Test für Winterschuhe mit Klick, bin ich auf diese Schuhe aufmerksam geworden. Beim Bestellen hier habe ich mich auch an die Aussage gehalten - lieber eine Nummer größer. Da ich gewöhnlich 41 trage und selten mal 41.5 benötige, habe ich die Schuhe in 42.5 bestellt und zurückgeschickt, da deutlich zu klein. Lieferbar waren nun nicht mehr die 43.5 sondern 43 und 44 -> ich habe die Schuhe also in 44 bestellt und meine Frau meinte nur: "Du sp......, die werden viel zu groß sein!" Sind sie nicht. Durch die Gummiabdeckung unten sind die Schuhe super zum Fahren ohne Klick geeignet und die Schuhe halten auch gut warm. Ich bin eben eine Runde um die Stadt damit, ca. 30 km. Die Füße sind sehr warm und ohne Kribbeln geblieben, so muss das sein. Zu den Punkten: - 3, Sterne sicher, da sie die Erwartungen erfüllen. - Die Verarbeitung ist super gut, eben in Italien hergestellt und das gibt Stern 4, Die Verarbeitung ist wirklich sehr ansprechend, so sollte das sein, aber für Schuhe in dieser Preisklasse sind meine Erwartungen doch darunter und diese Schuhe damit über meinen Erwartungen. Warum, nun sonst sind Kleberreste, leichte Abweichungen links zu rechts, etc.pp. zu erkennen, beide Paare waren hier deutlich sehr, sehr gut. - Dann ist das Laufen trotz Klick-Möglichkeit super, das hätte ich nicht erwartet - also 5 Sterne.
