Decent quality simple suspension seatpost, with good price/performance ratio. I can confirm the other comment: the factory spring probably works well only from 90-100kg and up. With my 82Kg it was like a stiff seatpost. There is replacement sping avaialble for lighter 70-90kg riders. However Bike Discount could not help me with getting it, the only option was offered to send the seatpost back. Fortunately company Ergotec has an excellent customer service so I could come by the replacement spring. This way the seatpost works well and takes out the edge of sudden bigger bumps.
Solid build, proper fit, very stiff suspension. Not for light riders. 27,2: 80-100kg variant doesn't even sag, when 83kg rider sits on it. It's fully extended most of the time and compresses only with big bumps - like driving off curb while seated. There's not damping either so it will shoot out instantly as soon as pressure is removed, like a pogo. Neither are there any spring tension adjustments. OTOH the build seems to be really good - thick materials, precise finish, smooth seat adjustment and strong clamping. Might work better for 90..100kg riders.

Don't know who copies who, but Merida TK seat post is almost identical. And I can't complain - it's simple and effective.
